Flying Star has become an enjoyable dining getaway when we're in the mood for a relaxing atmosphere, ample menu choices, good food, and friendly employees. This restaurant is synonymous with locals, and out of towners are discovering it as well. This is one of the places we like to take visitors for breakfast and/or lunch. Weather permitting, the outdoor patio... More

Have been there a couple of times. There are several around the Albuquerque area. Free refills on coffee, free wifi, good choice of sweet treats with your coffee or tea and sandwiches. Clean , polite staff, clean up after yourself. Often is so full of people that it is hard to carry on a conversation, other times it is not... More

Flying Star is a local chain of restaurants. Food is ordered at a counter and served to the table. Large selection of entrees, appetizers and dessert. Atmosphere is light and airy, contemporary. Food is very good to excellent, especially the desserts.

This was our first time or visit a Flying Star Cafe. Went to the Corrales location. Good light breakfast. Love the pinion in the outdoor fireplace. Theyes have cafeteria style ordering and handle orders efficiently. Good pastries and coffee. Would have liked to stay longer and enjoy the fragrant fire.

not very consistent. I've eaten at these resturants a lot because it's close, convenient and I think somewhat healthy. It's pricy for what you get. Bad things..twice I ordered the Budda Bowl and found stickers on the bell peppers. The kind that are on the store bought ones. That tells me these were not cleaned. And they were cut up... More

My favorite Flying Star restaurants are the locations at Rio Grande and Wyoming. I have been a fan for many years. The soups are wonderful; the salads are among the best in Albuquerque and the desserts are hands down the best. The locations are convenient, family friendly and the ingredients are local (when possible) and fresh. A real plus are... More

I went to the Flying star at Juan Tabo and thought it was great! Delicious food ( I had the beef stew) and efficient servers. The ambiance is very energetic and fun. There's also free wifi. I'd def recommend it for people visiting ABQ!

The setting is absolutely fun. Colorful, funky, bright. Free Wi-Fi is served along with a very eclectic menu as well as scrumptious baked goods. Prices are very fair and the portions more than sufficient. Help staff behind the counter and the servers are at your beck and call and all are knowledgeable.

A to-go salad was just as generous in portion and quality as in the restaurant. TWO containers of dressing on the side. Good to know the value is just as good when rushing home to an empty fridge. Had the Greek goddess again, which Flying Star does so well. Staff made sure I could easily carry to car. Highly recommend.

Love Flying Star for long periods of work on the computer and for their Gluten Free options. The one on 8th & Silver in ABQ is the best. Lots of seating and an incredibly friendly staff that is attentive and smart.
