We were headed to Sadies but decided to try El Bruno's because we had a good experience in Cuba. Terrible service. Waited ten minutes to be seated. Waited 15 minutes to take our order. Waited nearly an hour for food. Waiter explained they were busy with a party. Will not return.

The food was ok but the service was so bad I wouldn't go back. The waiter was MIA, so no water, refills, etc. management must be asleep.

Had dinner hear with a couple of friends. In many ways it is a typical New Mexican restaurant and you can get similar food all over town. But, the chile here was quite good, with a bit of a bite--not the bland chile that is served in many places to placate the tourist palate. The margaritas are quite large and... More

We have enjoyed the El Bruno's in Cuba when we are traveling in NW NM and were thrilled to learn there was a location right here in ABQ! The atmosphere did not disappoint and there is a nice patio which we enjoyed. We had an excellent server who made up our guacamole at our table. All of our entrees were... More

My family has eaten at the restaurant in Cuba on multiple occasions and we've always found it to be excellent. We were eagerly anticipating a visit to the 4th Street location, so we stopped in for a late Sunday breakfast. We arrived about 15 minutes after they opened and they weren't very busy, so I think they were still kind... More

Super good food with a nice atmosphere. Dining available although it can be rather noisy from the nearby street. The food is always first rate and the Biscochitos the New Mexico State Cookie are simply the best.

My husband and I have eaten dozens of times at El Brunos in Albuquerque. We have also eaten at the El Brunos in cuba, and we think the Albuquerque location has superior food. Service is always excellent, lunch or dinner: we are always greeted at the entrance and promptly seated, then a server brings us menus and salsa and chips.... More

Right from the spicy salsa and guacamole dip, this place is very extraordinary. I think one can order food here blindfolded and still can not go wrong.I like the enchilada particularly

This gem is tucked away in Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, just north of Paseo del Norte on the east side of 4th Street. El Bruno's started in Cuba, NM, and took over this space a while back. The food is authentic New Mexico cuisine and is quite good. The margarita's are excellent and nothing is expensive. Portions are generous and... More
