Finally checked out this brewery and restaurant that we pass on 25, with our kids ages 7 & 10. We went for an early dinner. I enjoy low IBU (low hoppiness) beers and they had 2 great ones, cream and white. Chicken wings were nicely cooked, juicy and tasty, both the "naked" with buffalo sauce and the "southern fried" which... More

I think we want you back -- just kidding, we definitely do. Thanks so much for finally coming in with the family, Carolyn! It sounds like everyone had a great time, which is exactly what I want to to hear. Enjoy your growler! We'll be here when you run out. All the best, Ken More

Celebrated Father's Day with some friends by having lunch at Nexus. We got there around 1130, before the afternoon crowds. We chose to sit on the outdoor covered patio. Service was quick, had one of their red ales and discovered my Nexus membership ($40 first yr-get free groller and discounts on beer/food) had expired so renewed for $20 and got... More

Happy to hear that you chose us to celebrate Father's Day and y'all had a great time! Sorry that we weren't able to serve up a pint of your favorite -- feel free to call ahead next time and make sure that we have the Alt Bier waiting for you. Until next time, Ken More

This place rocks! Some of the best food we've had in Abq in quite a while, and we are foodies. Not a large restaurant/sports bar-probably because they want it that way to maintain the quality. Everything we sampled today was delicious...the beer battered fries are the best I've had in any restaurant anywhere...light and crunchy on the outside, moist and... More

It's always such a pleasure to get great feedback from self-identified foodies, Anthony! This is the kind of review that reminds us why we love what we do. I can't wait to pass your compliments on to the kitchen. We'll look forward to seeing you back soon for more menu exploration and brews! Sincerely, Ken More

This brew pub is tucked behind a window company, but within walking distance from the Best Western. Their few brews are varied and tasty, but the real experience is the excellent food. Best pub food we have found in a long time. The seating arrangements are varied, bar/tall tables, and seating both inside and out.

Limited menu. Chicken sandwich is comparable to Wendy's, not bad. Crowded on a Sunday afternoon. Outdoor patio was enclosed due to rain resulting in poor ventilation and terrible smell. Ladies bathroom was not maintained. Service was super friendly, attentive and fast. Beer was average.

Hi, Millie! Sorry to hear that your experience as a whole wasn't the best. It sounds like your server knocked it out of the park for you, which is awesome to hear, but I apologize that there was an issue with the restroom and that the patio wasn't as comfortable as it usually is. Hopefully you'll return and give us... More

This little hole-in-the-wall sports bar/brewpub has an odd menu that combines down home cookin' with New Mexican fare, plus some other odds and ends. Remarkably, the combination seems to work; both my green chile stew and my wife's chicken and waffle were satisfying. Service was friendly and prompt, and while the sports-bar-style interior was a bit noisy for my personal... More

So many people around town and raved about their chicken and waffles so we were excited to try it out. When we arrived (party of 4 adults and one child) we were seated quickly despite seeming busy. Our waitress took our order and then warned us that the kitchen was backed up and food was taking a bit longer than... More

Sorry that you didn't catch us under better circumstances on your first visit, Eduardo. I'm glad to hear that your waitress gave you a heads-up about the kitchen being backed up, but regardless of how busy we are, we still want to get your order out just right. While I love hearing that the Fish Tacos were a hit, we... More

I was on business and went there for dinner based on the reviews. The Food and Atmosphere was very good. The only bad experience is that my green were served cold but other then that they were very good. In addition the wait was very long but when we received our food it was worth it. Staff was very nice... More

Thanks for spreading the word about us. Tasty food and friendly service are two of our top priorities, and it's great to hear we were on point. I'm going to give Nexus at least one more try. It is less than 5 minutes from my house in Sunday traffic. The beers are terrific and reasonably priced. The ambiance is kind of industrial, with a view of the parking lot, the trash cans, and the Sandia Mountains. Tres Albuquerque. The customers are an enjoyably eclectic mix. So are... More

Thanks for sharing your experience, Dan. Although I wish you'd been more impressed with our fried chicken and collards, I'm glad you enjoyed yourself overall, and I appreciate your willingness to give us another chance. After you come back, I'd love to hear about your visit via an updated review! All the best, Ken More
