Great food! I loved the fried chicken plate and the beer was good too. Collard greens was also delicious, however mash potatoes and desert was just ok. I felt like I was in heaven eating that fried chicken. If I ever have the chance to come through New Mexico again, I will definitely be planning on stopping here again.

We found Nexus passing through on our app of restaurants dives diners and drive ins have visited. It did not disappoint. We both ordered chicken and waffles...tip go for the corn bread waffle. This is the best fried chicken I've had and I used to eat fried chicken at an Amish restaurant. Staff was excellent and all friendly. What's underrated... More

Glad you guys found us on the app when you were coming through Albuquerque. Really proud to hear that you haven't found better fried chicken anywhere else! Come back and see us for another Chocolate Porter next time you're in town? Hope to see you again, Ken More

If you are a conniseur of good beer this is your place and to top it off they have great food with a twist... Had and IPA and the g/friend had a Wit beer, well we had two, but who's counting, and started the dinner off with a sampled platter, fried zuchinni, pickles, and okra... was very good. I had... Hi, George! Thanks for joining us for a few brews (four to be exact) and some eats. You're not allowed to leave less than stuffed -- that's not how we do things around here, so I'm glad you held up your side of the bargain. We can't wait to welcome you back! Hope to hear from you after the next... More

I hate to be picky, but when you hear great things about a place, your expectations are pretty high. We were seated right away and the service was definitely very prompt. The beers were good, decent selection. The food, which we heard raves about, was ok, not up to the hype. Fish tacos were good, but I've had better. The... More

That's not being picky -- if the food didn't blow you away, we weren't at the top of our game that day. Great to hear that you enjoyed yourself, but your expectations were high for a reason, and I definitely wish we'd delivered 100%! Thanks for being candid. Hope to welcome you back next time you're in ABQ and get... More

We used to stop here every time we came to town. The food is still great but since they took the pork steak off the menu we have been exploring other Albuquerque restaurants. Probably better for my cardiovascular health but we really miss that fried pork steak..

Sorry we took away your favorite, Animasrio! Sadly it wasn't as popular with everyone else, so we had to make room for other items. Hope to help you find something else to love next time you're in town so you don't want to pass us up! Best, Ken More

Best chicken and waffles EVER!!! You have the great crunch and juiciness of the chicken - not greasy AT ALL - paired with the buttery and fluffiness of the waffle and top that off with syrup and you've got yourself AMAZINGNESS!!! I also had the gumbo with shrimp and that was PERFECTION and the fact that I used to live... More

Hey, Andrea, thanks for hitting us up while you were in town from Florida! Really happy to hear that ours were the best Chicken & Waffles you've ever tried. You said you're from the south, so if you loved my gumbo, we must be doing something right! Can't wait to have you back, either -- keep in touch! Best, Ken More

Google dropped us in the Best Western parking lot. There is small cut through to the left of the hotel to get to them. We sat on the enclosed deck which was comfortable. Their beer selection was good with two different reds and porters. IBU rating on most beers is low with exception of the IPA. I liked the Irish... More

Thanks for sipping some brews on the patio with us! Glad you enjoyed the salad and fish you after checking those out, too. While I'm happy to hear that the service was good overall, sorry for the blip there -- I'll mention it to my team next time we meet. Hope to welcome you back sometime! Cheers, Ken More

Nexus Brewery is a bit hard to find, just off I-25 on the east and north side of the Montgomery exit, set back from the frontage road. But it is worth searching out. Jeanne! Always great to hear from a regular! The red beans and rice isn't the most popular dish, but I have to say it's one of my favorites, too. Hope to have y'all back soon to kick back on the patio with a couple Imperials. Cheers, Ken More
