Good food, great beer!

That Scottish Ale is superb. We had an enchilada with green chile, and some fries Good service, as it was not crowded. A bit hard to find, and then the entrance was way around the corner!

We found this restaurant watching Diners, Drive Thrus, and Dives. We were lucky we heeded the show. The service was great! Everyone was super accommodating despite the place being packed for basketball. The fried okra was great--and I don't like okra. The fried pickles...not so much, they were too thin. Everything else was wonderful. We all shared tastes of our... More

We decided to visit Nexus Brewery on our way to Arizona. Its kinda in a strange location , off the beaten path, but easy to find. The food was awesome. My husband had the gumbo, I think the serving could be bigger, he still was hungry. I had the fried chicken breast, collard greens and mashed potatoes, there was so... More

everything on the menu is delicious, but the chicken and waffles are my family's favorite. We try to make it a family event because the kids enjoy this place so much. We have been frequenting this place since we found it 3 years ago and have never been disappointed.

Made it back here after a long break and was pleasantly pleased! We ordered food, beer and wine and all were good. The chicken and waffles were amazing and the gumbo tasted so good and authentic! Love that they serve local wine. Favorite beer at the table was the Chamomile Wheat Beer.

Came here on the first day of my road trip, holding court for hours as local friends drifted in and out. I got to sample much of the fare and let me tell you, the collard greens and chicken wings were second to none. Absolutely delicious. The beer took a back seat, but the Red Ale and Stout were quite... More

Gumbo was great. Everything else was just average. The fried chicken was meh, about a week ago I ate at Gus's in Memphis, that was truly great chicken. The service was average, last night we were at the Texas Roadhouse in Lubbock, they had phenomenal service. Overall I was really disappointed in the Nexus, it wasn't bad but it was... More

Hello, we are glad you enjoyed our Gumbo. It's quickly becoming a favorite. Our fried chicken is normally very well received, we're sorry this wasn't the case for your family. Also, sorry the service wasn't up to par but appreciate the feedback. We hope next time you are in Albuquerque, you'll come back and give us a second try. More

We waited over 45 min. for our "fish and chips" they should just call it southern fried catfish and set a better expectation. The fish was mushy and half raw and gag worthy. We all spit it out and left. The black eyed pea hummus was good and that was the only thing worthy of my time. Overall slow inattentive... More

Hello Wesley, I am very sorry about our service that night. I discussed this incident with my manager and it appears we dropped the ball with service and from the kitchen. I am not going to bore you with the excuses. This is not typical for this organization and certainly not the way we do things. If there is any... More

Very good pub. Service was fine. I had the chicken and waffles - chicken was great, waffle was blah. Also had the black eyed pea hummus - very good. Had a flight of four of their seasonal beers. Two were really good. Prices were very reasonable. Will probably return.

My wife and ordered the fish and chips plus the gumbo with Shri p added. The gumbo was delicious with a nice spice kick. I enjoyed the fish that had a nice fry and fresh taste along with the beer battered fries. I tasted some the nachos and chicken Chicharones that were pretty good. I sampled all their tap beers... William, wish you'd enjoyed the brews as much as the bites! I'll let the kitchen know that the gumbo was a big hit along with your fish. Noticed you're a local, so hopefully we'll get to see you again and get another chance to find you a favorite beer. Cheers, Ken More
