Just went today and thought the food was amazing!!! I've never had Cuban food before and was so happy that I tried the Guava Tree Cafe! The line was almost out the door but moved pretty quickly. The staff was nice and friendly! Highly recommend this place!

I frequent guava tree cafe because I love the delicious food. It's a plus that the staff are super friendly and that the atmosphere is enjoyable. I never leave disappointed. I would recommend ordering one of the tropical smoothies, they're delicious!

After hearing about how great this place was I left fairly disappointed. The indoor chairs were not comfortable and I had to find a table that didn't rock. The young woman taking orders was too busy to turn and address me so she told me to let her know when I was ready to order- with her back to me.... More

We came here after an early morning at the Balloon Fiesta. The food was excellent, the Cuban sandwich was the best I've ever had. I'm still dreaming about the yucca fries and sauce. If you're looking for a lighter lunch come here and don't miss out.

Wonderful lunch, very nice authentic Latin/Cuban food and decor, with great atmosphere! For first timers, as we were, they don't seat you. You order at the register, sit at a table, and they bring the food to your table. Service was great, staff very friendly and helpful when ordering. The El Cuban sandwich was excellent, as were the side order... More

Of course their Cuban Sandwich is going to be great, but their roasted pork Pernil Sandwich is amazing and what's up with their El Guava Pollito Sandwich, a delicious creation full of chicken breast, carmelized onions, mushrooms and Swiss cheese! I've also had their Arepa Pabellon which has shredded beef, black beans and sweet plantains. Their coffee is legit, their... More

This is an incredibly charming place for lunch. Their new location on Richmond is comfortable and cozy. The food is delicious - fresh, flavorful and interesting. I will return here several times, and will bring as many people with me as I can! Eating here took me back to my wonderful trip in Costa Rica. What a gem of a... More

What a great little spot! Food was delicious with a very authentic flavor. Loved the sweet plantains! The specialty drinks are pricey but you get 20 ounces so we shared. It is small and you need to pay for parking most of the time. I would eat here again.

Fabulous Cuban comfort food. Portions are generous, ingredients are fresh, flavors are above expectation. But, the absolute best part of Guava Tree is the service. The folks running this place are some of the warmest and friendliest in our city. Good people, great food = good memories. A must stop when you're in town and if your living in the... More
