Friendliest restaurant ever

Tim is a fantastic host and he has a great team of servers. Food was great and generous portions, Would go back and visit if I was in town. The restaurant has stunning views and really enjoyed my breakfast there would highly recommend.

I am constantly on Trip Advisor getting recommendations and writing reviews and have never given 5 stars. What makes Tim's Place that good is that " on " gimmick that some other reviewers were displeased about. What Tim shows, that everyone has forgotten, is to enjoy life and smile. Sharing happiness. He has overcome so much in life and made... More

I am saddened that not everyone writing reviews didnt have the happy experience we did. The moment we walked in we felt it. All the staff were positive and welcoming. Tim was eating, said Hi and kept eating. Once done he was welcoming, all visitors and made two announcements to the diners while we there. One, he had some children come... More

You can only get so far on a gimmick. If you want a hug, Tim's Place is for you. If warm, tasty food at a reasonable price is more your thing, I'd point you toward a number of other Albuquerque eateries instead. Tim's Place has certainly been good at promoting itself - for a while there, I couldn't get on... More

The food was delicious. We would highly recommend the green and red onion rings! Tim and the staff made it a memorable experience.

I went for lunch with 4 friends who knew about Tim's success as a restaurant owner and Special Olympics athlete. I got to meet Tim and his General Manager, who was also a very nice young man. He will be leaving to go back to North Carolina very soon and a new General Manager has been training so will be... More

Great location for the $$ dining experience. They have a good selection of sandwiches and local faire. Tim is a young man with Down's Syndrome who runs the restaurant. His job is to issue hugs and he does a great job. Very nice feel good experience and a good bargain as well.

We arrived about 11 on Sunday morning. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our server was busy at another table, yet we were waited on in less than 5 minutes. I ordered coffee, and to my amazement they brought me a bowl with 12 to 15 individual creamers in it! At other restaurants I have to ask for more than... More

I ate here on a Saturday morning. And we all ordered breakfast food. I have to say the menu has good offerings and the price was nice, especially given the portion size. We all ordered the Olympian Breakfast which came with eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, pancakes, hash browns, fruit, and toast. But if I'm being really honest, the food is... More

I took my mom here because we had seen it on food network. Tim is GREAT! The food not so much. In fact, if not for the amazing story and the great staff, I probably would have rated this as "poor". We ordered the fried green tomatoes with jalapeno ranch and it was so greasy.....yuck. The jalapeno ranch was inedible... More
