After seeing the video about Tim's Place, it only took about a year to finally eat there. My daughter lives in Albuquerque. But because of the hours of operation (7am-3pm) it made it a bit harder to actually find the time. Upon arriving, Tim greeted us with hugs and pictures. My daughter was wearing a Bronco shirt which delighted Tim.... More

Yes, we decided to eat at Tim's after seeing the video about it, and every bit of what the video suggested was true. Tim's is the happiest restaurant! Tim greeted us with a smile and a genuine, warm welcome. We were served by the friendliest, kindest staff I've ever experienced, and the food was fantastic. (Give the green chili grits... More

Tim's is based upon the politically correct (PC) premise that a man with Down syndrome who likes to hug his customers can successfully own and operate a restaurant business. And, in this case, the PC premise is indeed correct. Tim has done so. And he doesn't press his hugs upon those that are not eager to hug him. But, without... More

It truly is the world's friendliest restraunt. Tim is great and the food is delicious. I enjoy giving him my business rather than the big time companies.

We had a great time at Tim's Place even though Tim was out of state at the time. Great service, good food and we enjoyed looking at the memorabilia of Tim and his Special Olympics medals. Very friendly staff!

There are a few reasons to come to Tim's Place. First, the food: it is delicious. I like almost all the menu items, and their breakfast selections are great. Also, great sandwiches. Second: it's a local business. As much as you might enjoy Denny's or IHOP, try to spread some love to local places that aren't chains. It's good for... More

Wife got the blue pancakes which are monstrous, dense and amazing! I got the biscuit bowl which was so good and filling. If you are within 100 miles, go out of your way to visit this place. You will not be disappointed.

This is an incredible place. The food itself is really great. Try the green pepper cheese grits with eggs and potatoes.Fantastic! As you have probably read, it is owned by a fine young man named Tim, who happens to have Down Syndrome. That in and of itself is remarkable, but in addition there is a sense of friendliness and happiness that... More

I had breakfast, but it was pretty straight forward. Eggs/potatoes/fruit/toast/cottage cheese. Everything was prepared well and the potatoes were great. I saw more elaborate plates on other tables which looked delicious. Service is doting, professional and efficient. The place was clean, bright and everyone got a fabulous table meet and greet by Tim, the owner. Lovely experience.

We learned about Tim on a news segment, and agreed that if we ever were in Albuquerque, we would go. That evolved into when we would be here, (as we're from Austin, Texas), so we planned our summer road trip around getting to Albuquerque. Our visit was so much fun! We had Tim's Mountain of Nachos to start... They were... More
