Loved it

We came to check it out. We are from Oregon. Tim is amazing, smart, sweet, and inspiring man. The food was terrific. Will be back when we go threw Albuquerque again.

Went there the other day, after hearing a number of rave reviews. Was happy to learn about someplace new in the very 'whitebread' part of town, a place w/ some character. For my $ the food was uninspiring, the service offhandedly casual, and I felt nothing in the atmosphere that was remotely special, Gonna go back sometime, hopefully the place... More

We were flying out of Albuquerque and, on impulse, decided to visit the restaurant. We had recently met Tim at the National Down syndrome Conference. We were surprised (and pleased) that the food was delicious; some of the best we had on our vacation...and very affordable! Our waiter, Sam, was very competent and attentive. Sorry we don't have a "Tim's... More

Tim's Place is a very nice restaurant that serves "Breakfast, Lunch, and Hugs" with good food The owner, Tim Harris, is a man with Down Syndrome. He is the owner and host and provides hugs to his customers. His accomplishments are many and his awards are on display in the restaurant. He is also a motivational speaker and promotes a... More

I love the smiles and friendly greetings I receive when I come in the door, and the food is great! Tim is one of my best friends. The restaurant is open from 7-2:00 pm.

This place was amazing! Tim was at a speaking engagement in Canada, so unfortunately we didn't get to hug him. However, his spirit was there. Very friendly restaurant, incredibly good food! I highly recommend this Tim's Place. If you aren't super hungry one entree can easily feed two people.

Their motto is no exaggeration. Be sure to get a hug from Tim, the very special, affable young man who co-owns it with his parents. It's essentially a diner and deli that serves breakfast and lunch. There are basic breakfast items, salads, sandwiches, burgers and some Southwestern. The patty melt and french fries were very good, as was the service.... More

I had read about Tim and wanted to support his dream by visiting his restaurant. While the breakfast was tasty, I felt it was very light on protein. I ordered the "Mountain" but without eggs due to a food allergy. The description mentioned the choice of meat and I requested bacon. There were a few small pieces of bacon scattered... More

I have gone to Tim's many times. Twice with new menu. I always loved the food but now forget it. The menu is very limited. No fresh fruit like they used to have. One gets the impression it is changing hands or going out of business. I feel sorry for Tim but I won't be back. Judging from small attendance... More

Ate breakfast here after reading other reviews. The place is very stale as far as décor. The waiters were no where to be found most of the time. We ordered our food and the waiter disappeared in the backroom and never came out again until he brought our food. There were a few other tables who were waiting to order... More
