A good lunch stop, but I recommend you stay away when the live music is playing on the patio. They play so loud you can't hear yourself think, let alone enjoy an evening dinner.

No thrills, no frills - just good, authentic New Mexican food in a warm and inviting atmosphere. For us native New Mexicans, this is the way we enjoy our food and it may be the closest thing to "how mom does it at home"! The red chili is intentionally tamed down a bit but very flavorful and the sopapillas are... More

Serafin's is the BEST, freshest Mexican food in town. I am a native and have been to most of the Mexican restaurants (Los Quates, Gardunos, etc.) in Albuquerque, and Serafin's has the very best service, delicious red and green chili dishes with just enough cheese, yummiest sopapillas, and even NA beer (Clausthaler, my favorite). It's in Nob Hill area and... More

Stopped here for dinner one night on our summer road trip to Arizona. Delicious food. Big portions. Friendly owner and staff who were more than willing to allow us to taste test so we could figure out what we wanted to try. Had to be rolled out the door to the car. Deliciously yummy!

Healthy portioned home cooking New Mexico style . Served in that clean , airy , informal hacienda atmosphere all locals like to go " chow down " in . It's a very small place , so I chose to visit after lunch hour rush at 1:30pm on a weekday to experience the slower pace and enjoy the solid food .... More

When we went we were really looking forward to a wonderful meal based on past reviews. And everything seemed to taste good. But not everything is always as it seems. The next day three out of the four of us that went ended up feeling pretty sick, lots of restroom runs! All three had beef in their dinner so that... More

My husband and I throughly enjoyed our evening at Serafin's Chili Hut. The live entertainment was just right in volume and variety. We ordered a combination plate and a bowl of pasole so we could taste a lot of different things - tamale, two enchiladas, taco, rice, pasole and sopapillas. It all had the right amount of pepper. We would... More
