THis restaurant is on your site but it is the Juan Tabo location which is now operating under another name. The name was never "Chinese Bistr" always "asian." Don't know what the mix-up is.

Always tasty and friendly service. The pot stickers and lettuce warps are excellent. My favorite dish is the nuts and birds cashew chicken. My husband and I go there once a month.

My wife and I occasionally eat here, and in the past the food as always been good. But today I came solo and tried a Chinese New Year special of short ribs. The meat was extremely tough, hard to cut, and even harder to chew. The short ribs were cut in a strange way also which made it hard to... More

I have eaten here for dinner several times and it has been excellent. The coffee chicken was great as well as the service. I ate here at lunch this week and the food was as good as it was for dinner. Stopped for lunch while at mall. Service was very good.

If you want Asian, it is worth a trip to find this. I like the food especially the shrimp and walnut dish.

Once worth stopping for, now amongst the better mall sit-downs. Pepper beef was cracked peppercorns, and beef. Used to dig it much here - now ho-hum. Fried rice is dull, brown rice is glum, rice noodles are unimpressive. Doubt the chef eats here anymore - the food court's just a stroll away in the mall. Supposed to have delivery.

My friend and I ended up at Cottonwood Mall at lunch time hungry. We did not want the mall court fast food...we asked a lady if there were other options and yes there was Chows...I know Chows in Santa Fe; this is run by their son Jason..inviting decor...cheerful service...we shared 3 appetizers..lettuce wrap...pot stickers...beef rolls...loved them...looking forward to having dinner... We had lunch today at Chow's. Disappointing... The hot and sour soup was good. The salad reminded me of a type of Kimchi, with lots of raw onions. It was very unappetizing. The fried rice appeared to have frozen peas and carrots. The rice had no flavor at all, with the consistency of paste. It stuck to the roofs of... More

We dined at Chow's, which is located in the Cottonwood Mall, on a weekday evening. We both ordered the house speciality "coffee rubbed chicken". Having dined there before we knew that the chef could "tone down" the spice to almost nothing which is the way we like it. Also, any vegetable on the menu can be added to the dish... More

When you live in an area that has a Chinese restaurant just about on every street, you'd think it would be difficult to select one on any day of the week. Not so for me. Chow's is "it", if you're looking for a not-the-run-of-the-mill menu and NOT a buffet loaded with pre-cooked food food. Chow's chef(s) prepare each dish for... More
