Excellent, Underrated Italian

I’ll start by saying Torino’s deserves a much higher ranking on TA than #140 in Albuquerque, which is where it sits as of this writing. It used to be #1, and although that might be a little too high, it certainly deserves to be in the top 25 Albuquerque restaurants. Just having had lunch here on... read more

We had a party of eight and booked reservations knowing we were tight for an evening's entertainment at a local casino. We were seated promptly, informed the server we had time constraints, and proceeded to order drinks and food. The food was a WOW, the prices low, and the service outstanding. We ordered the lasagna, a fish dish, and the... More

The amount of arrogance and disrespect are not worth it! My husband I decided to take our children for a nice dinner at Torino's after seeing the episode on TV. It was horrible! We didn't even make it to the entrée. We waited one hour and when we complained about the time it was taking, the waitress was rude and... More

Had dinner here with 6 people- no reservation. They were great-accommodating, helpful and responsive service as we were a bit of a demanding group. Foie gras was superb even for the Francophile ! Lovely lamb shank, singularly delicious lasagna, and the wonderful clams. House wines are nice and we had several desserts including a lovely fresh light apricot ravioli, molten... More

A small but comfortable restaurant a bit off the beaten path, but with a great menu and a nice selection of wine and beer.. the menu was nicely varied. Calamari, Butternut Squash Manicotti and Beef Cheeks Manicotti were all very good. Large portions so the idea of splitting one would work. That way you would have room for one of... More

It was Tuesday, so not overly busy. The waitress was very helpful and her suggestion of the Goat Cheese Salad was good. She was very accomodating to split one of the main entree's. I had duck on my salad as well and there was some skin in the salad, which I didn't eat, but the rest was very tasty and... More

My wife and I ate here twice in the last month, and both dinners were excellent. All the pasta is homemade and perfectly al dente. The chef combines ingredients and flavors expertly. Very creative food. We like eating at the bar, which is quiet and always has a bartender nearby.
