Had dinner here with 6 people- no reservation. They were great-accommodating, helpful and responsive service as we were a bit of a demanding group. Foie gras was superb even for the Francophile ! Lovely lamb shank, singularly delicious lasagna, and the wonderful clams. House wines are nice and we had several desserts including a lovely fresh light apricot ravioli, molten... More

A small but comfortable restaurant a bit off the beaten path, but with a great menu and a nice selection of wine and beer.. the menu was nicely varied. Calamari, Butternut Squash Manicotti and Beef Cheeks Manicotti were all very good. Large portions so the idea of splitting one would work. That way you would have room for one of... More

It was Tuesday, so not overly busy. The waitress was very helpful and her suggestion of the Goat Cheese Salad was good. She was very accomodating to split one of the main entree's. I had duck on my salad as well and there was some skin in the salad, which I didn't eat, but the rest was very tasty and... More

My wife and I ate here twice in the last month, and both dinners were excellent. All the pasta is homemade and perfectly al dente. The chef combines ingredients and flavors expertly. Very creative food. We like eating at the bar, which is quiet and always has a bartender nearby.

Before I tell the story, this is about a patron not liking a dish and the aggressive, threatening and over-the-top reaction of the owner/manager. (I'll call her Furious as she never introduced herself or her position. But, if you read other TA reviews, her attitude and demeanor comes through in brilliant relief.) My brother and his wife and I stopped... More

After a not so good dinner about a year ago, we decided to give Torinos' another try after seeing some good reviews. Again, we felt let down. Great service and nice decor, but the food was a miss. Octopus salad was overpowered with hot spice. Likewise, the pasta and clams was too strong with what seemed to tarriagon. My large... More

After seeing them on Triple D and hearing how fabulous this place was from friends, we decided to check it out for ourselves last weekend. Everything we had was fresh and tasty. Our server was a bit "over eager"; we really wanted to enjoy a nice, quiet and romantic meal and her eagerness prevented this from happening. We tried their... More

Lunch was one of the worst meals. This restaurant doesn't allow any changes to their menu and they had two things that were vegetarian. I ordered a tomato soup that was 5 spoonfuls and a salad which consisted of a wedge of iceberg lettuce drizzled with onion vinaigrette. Yuck!!

Torino's is one of those places where the sum is greater than the parts. Yes you sometimes have the clueless server, or some other gaffe that occurs, yet it feels like a minor gaffe. Daniella (co-owner) has the most amazing impact on everything. She brings a joy to everything she touches. It is hard not to have fun here, and... More
