Nice Place to Meet Friends

When meeting friends for lunch, my favorite restaurant is Farina. We can choose to sit inside or on the patio and there is no pressure to hurry and eat. We generally each order a salad from a variety of choices and then split one of the delicious pizzas. We always have a great experience.

I was a bit disappointed with the pizza. The crust was soggy in places. But considering I was hungry, I just ate around the sogginess. I would be willing to give the place another try. I think it might have just been an off night.

I called in here while I was staying downtown and instantly liked the friendly manner of the staff and the decor. I learned that it's popular amongst locals and I spoke to some regular repeat customers who spoke highly of this place. I recommend the special salad and the unusual espresso and vanilla dessert! Two courses and a soda all... More

The pizzas remind me of those I used to love on the French Riviera -- crisp and pleasantly charred in the wood oven. (Yes, the "burn" some reviewers point out here is deliberate ... and delicious.) We like the pizza with artichoke and goat cheese, but the plain margherita is the pie of choice. The verde salad is lovely, lightly... More

A completely fresh ricotta based cheese cake that was light and perfect. The crust was made with freshly crushed lightly ginger flavored cookies. The peach/mango topping and cream all tested fresh. Simply the best new dessert that I have had in years.

Three of us split two pies which were OK but not hot at all. The Pepe Caldo has a nice flavor but benefits with a squeeze of lemon. The sausage was burnt like many of the pies here and no, burnt is not correct. The noise level was way out of control and the place needs a good cleaning- front... More

I tried to like their pizza but too burnt and no real taste to it - better choices for Pizza in ABQ are out there such as Firenze and Amore Pizzerias. The Meatballs are to die for so will come back but if your looking for Pizza - better choices elsewhere.

This was my first time to visit but my friend is a regular and insisted I try the meatballs al forno. I had a salad but agreed to taste the meatballs. Ended up ordering a side of my very own they were so good. A very unusual, unique taste. I'll start with them next time instead of finishing with them.... More

If you don't mind paying for premium pizza, this is the perfect choice. The menu is what you'd expect from any pizza place with salads, etc. The Verde salad was really outstanding and perfect for sharing along with a pizza. Of course, the beer selection was also better than average.
