First time I had Indian food it was excellent. Our server was very nice and patient with us. We told him it was our first time there and if he had any recommendations. My husband and son got like a dish with all the different meats and I had the spicy chicken and my grandson had the butter chicken very... More

Second time we've been here, this time for dinner. It's on Eubank, north of Constitution, west side of street. Inside, nothing special, mostly booths. We got the buffet because I wanted to try all the different foods. I tried almost everything, and it was mostly delicious. I especially loved the chicken--butter chicken and tandoori. The fish was also good, and... More

Almost $18 for the all you can eat dinner buffet with only water!? I had to find a waiter. The food offered was ok, nothing special but the rice pudding was runny! I asked if I could get a to go box for the dessert because I was full and was told its more money! The occasional dancers seem to... More

This was the best dinner. The chicken come out sizzling hot. And the sauces were to die for. Service was so good. I was greatful or server was patient with me as I had no idea what I was ordering. I highly recommend Taaj Palace.

I ordered take-out, Lamb Tikka Masala, mixed pickle, and spicy naan. The curry right off the menu is mild (to me anyway). My Japanese mother's Japanese curry was way hotter than this. Since I wasn't at the restaurant, I added some white pepper and West Indian habanero sauce and it perked up nicely! If you like heat, I recommend that... More

Taj Palace offers a delightful and delicious dining experience to both the lovers of Indian food and those who are less familiar with the rich and flavorful cuisine. Different types of tandoori chicken are simply the best in town. The extensive lunch and weekend dinner buffets offer a wide selection of vegetarian and meat dishes to please various tastes. But... This is a good sized buffet. It is separated by vegetarian and non-vegetarian. There are plenty of choices of dessert as well.

It's too bad that the food and atmosphere are both quite good because every time friends and I go to Taj Palace to dine, they spray Windex ( or some similar chemical) all over the glass table tops, and into the air. The chemical spray causes me days of burning/inflamed lungs ( I am allergic to the toxic compounds in... More
