This restaurant is hidden in the back of the gift shop. This is located near the gas station. The food was good and filling. By far, the best choice was the Navajo Taco.

This restaurant is behind the gift shop at the petrified forest visitors center, but don't pass it up! We came in after a hot day of hiking so the friendly staff, air conditioning, and homemade food were welcoming. Also the Navajo Taco that I ordered was delicious! I could eat one every day for lunch and be happy. Notice too... More

Man, what a God send. These fine folks were so sweet and helpful, food is fantastic and they even have a half & half (half fries, half onion rings) option! Highly recommend!

We stopped here for a quick bite to eat before going into the national park. We had the grilled cheese and chili bowl. Inexpensive and no complaints. They have some Route 66 decor and that was interesting to see. We were very fortunate because right after we got our order in, there were two busloads of tourists coming in the... More

The best reason to eat at this diner is the Navaho tacos. The fry bread they make is great. Service is slow, the decor is cute, the gift shop is OK, then on to the park (or to the highway to the next destination)

Granted it is a park concession so don't expect a fancy restaurant. What it is though is a food trip down route 66's memory lane. The decor and food if great fun and we enjoyed it. It will recommend Harvey's to anyone visiting the park.

The food here is a cut above typical National Park concessions. It is prepared to order and the service is by competent and pleasant staff. The meal was a little slower to arrive than at a lot of Park concessions, but that was because it was not pre-made. The diner atmosphere is pleasant in a pseudo-Route 66 way too. It... More

The food there is good, but it's just way overpriced. Expect to pay around $10 for each person. The good news is that their french fries or onion rings are large enough to share between two people.

Worth a visit - good food (Tucker = food in Oz). A fun town and worth a walk about.
