Met here with 20 other folks, we had reservations and had 2 large tables reserved for us. Our waiter was Vince, he was great, kept us all happy with drinks and dinner. Menu was just right, upscale pub food. I had Stuffed Eggplant, half of an eggplant sliced lengthwise, roasted & stuffed with ricotta, pine nuts, arugala, artichoke, it was... More

We finally found an amazingly good restaurant in Petersburg, Virginia. Have been traveling back and forth from N.Y. to Jacksonville and always settled for eating at a large chain restaurant. This trip I decided to ask at our hotel for a recommendation. I am so happy I did. They recommended The Brickhouse Run. We would never have found this on... More

My family went on a Friday evening and we were seated right away. Their beer selection was great, they're one of the only places I've been to in Petersburg VA that had Hardywood on draft. The service was fast, and the quality of the food was great. My wife wanted fried green tomatoes for an appetizer, I don't even like... More

Very friendly group runs the place. Menu changes fairly often with some very good choices. I took the 'stuffed eggplant'..it was not so good..sorry to say. I should have had the 'Oyster Lettuce wraps.'

When we walked in we were greeted with a lukewarm response at best. Our waiter was by far the best part of the entire experience, very friendly and knew the menu well while offering drink suggestions. Wish the food would have been as good, while it wasn't bad just nothing to get excited about.

Good food and wine. old historic building, brick walled, pub-like atmosphere. Seemed popular with locals. Lively place. Reasonably priced. If in town, would definitely eat here again.

Located in an historic building in Old Town, you immediately feel welcome. The staff is friendly and knowledgable about menu. I had the chicken, which was perfectly roasted, and my companion had the special. Both excellent.

The wife and I have been to the Brickhouse Run several times. The food is great. We have tried a few items from Fried Green Tomatoes to Bangers & Mash. Excellent everytime. Just be prepared to try something new. This place can get crowded and you may have to wait awhile to be seated but it is well worth it.... More

The food here is superb, and the ambiance very friendly, lively. As close to an English pub atmosphere as we have seen in the USA. hen in Petersburg, this is a great place to dine and socialize.

This place used to be wonderful. This is the first time I've been in a couple of years and now it is just ok. I had the scallops, which were cooked to perfection and quite good. The orzo was creamy and pretty good. My date had the catch of the day which was some chili flavored fish (i can't remember),... More
