Great Dinner

This would be a 5 if it wasn't so loud. I have been there twice and the volume seems to get louder everytime. The food is excellent, especially the fried green tomatoes. I will definitely keep going back despite the high noise level.

Just ask John for a mint julep and he'll go pick fresh mint from a pot outside. It's an absolutely fantastic bar with great food made from local sources.

An Englishman's take on Southern cooking. The food is plentiful and pleasing. Some of the offerings are twists on the classics and may startle those who are accustomed to Southern dishes. But overall, an enjoyable experience.

We ate here over the Christmas holidays. The fish and chips and the bangers and mash are very good. Nice atmosphere and great staff.

Love Brickhouse! LOVE it! How can you go wrong with a 190 year old building, an English co-owner, an impressive wine list and bar, and an amazing, ever-changing menu of fantastic entrees? You can't! Be certain to visit. You too will fall in <3!

First time- you're a visitor. Second time- you're family. The staff and owners are lovely and I miss my regular spot at the bar. The food is incredible and if the crab bisque is on the menu- get it. Place is as full of regulars as it is tourists and people wait an hour to be seated. I recommend a... More

We visited with our family on 6/10. The chorizo chips were amazing and the steak with bleu cheese was outstanding. Our 4 year old loved the pasta with butter. Overall, a unique atmosphere and a great experience.

We stopped by here for lunch and are glad we did. First, the restaurant is quite quaint with exposed brick walls, one "bar" room with tables and one more proper table room. My wife tried the fish n chips ( $13), 2 pieces of white cod filet lager battered. It was tasty if a bit scant in portion, 2 pieces.... More
