My family went on a Friday evening and we were seated right away. Their beer selection was great, they're one of the only places I've been to in Petersburg VA that had Hardywood on draft. The service was fast, and the quality of the food was great. My wife wanted fried green tomatoes for an appetizer, I don't even like... More

Very friendly group runs the place. Menu changes fairly often with some very good choices. I took the 'stuffed eggplant'..it was not so good..sorry to say. I should have had the 'Oyster Lettuce wraps.'

When we walked in we were greeted with a lukewarm response at best. Our waiter was by far the best part of the entire experience, very friendly and knew the menu well while offering drink suggestions. Wish the food would have been as good, while it wasn't bad just nothing to get excited about.

Good food and wine. old historic building, brick walled, pub-like atmosphere. Seemed popular with locals. Lively place. Reasonably priced. If in town, would definitely eat here again.

Located in an historic building in Old Town, you immediately feel welcome. The staff is friendly and knowledgable about menu. I had the chicken, which was perfectly roasted, and my companion had the special. Both excellent.

The wife and I have been to the Brickhouse Run several times. The food is great. We have tried a few items from Fried Green Tomatoes to Bangers & Mash. Excellent everytime. Just be prepared to try something new. This place can get crowded and you may have to wait awhile to be seated but it is well worth it.... More

The food here is superb, and the ambiance very friendly, lively. As close to an English pub atmosphere as we have seen in the USA. hen in Petersburg, this is a great place to dine and socialize.

This place used to be wonderful. This is the first time I've been in a couple of years and now it is just ok. I had the scallops, which were cooked to perfection and quite good. The orzo was creamy and pretty good. My date had the catch of the day which was some chili flavored fish (i can't remember),... More

Our "usual" stop in Petersburg was closed and we were fortunate enough to stumble across The Brickhouse Run and what a great experience it was! Authentic southern country cooking in a comfortable environment with an exceptionally helpful staff. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal, my only caution is to beware - the portions are HUGE! Be adventurous and give... More

Everything else was excellent. The atmosphere of the old, brick establishment is cozy and quaint. The staff was friendly, and the service fast. We started off with the pimento cheese, homemade and delicious. Followed that up with the Sweet Onion bisque, which was almost like dessert. Excellent! For main course, I had the stuffed flounder with roasted potatoes, sugar snaps,... More
