Ribs, Potato Salad, Half Chicken, Slaw (With Cilantro!!!) and beans. All excellent. The line moved really fast. Allowed me to relax out front and people watch. Great spot for that. There's a tire joint across the street and a river a block away. I could see Interstate 95 from the picnic table. I'm telling everyone about this place!

The BBQ is excellent, you can't go wrong with any of it! Just steer clear of the coleslaw, they put a ton of cilantro in it and that makes it taste bizzare.

There simply aren't places like this any more. Creatively constructed, down to earth, super nice staff, high quality food. I love that they're focused on one thing...great BBQ. We stop here every time we pass by Petersburg on I95. We're never disappointed. From what I understand, they built the whole place themselves, even the cookers. Wishing they'd expand to Philadelphia.... More

Having read a number of reviews on Saucy's, I was interested in trying the number 1 rated restaurant in Petersburg. I did not leave disappointed. Saucy's serves up some of the best tasting BBQ in the area. Having sampled the chicken and the beef, they were both so good I ended up purchasing one of each. No regrets. The young... More

I love the walk-up theme! There is nothing else like it that I know of. The food is excellent except for the coleslaw. They use cilantro in it and it makes it super funky. I have never met anyone who likes their slaw, but other than that the food is delicious.

Fun stop. Being self proclaimed BBQ experts, we enjoyed the visit. Had a chicken BBQ sandwich and a pork BBQ sandwich. Both very delicious. Sauce was good, slaw dry and meant to be on the sandwich not as a side. Potato salad was yummy. Beans were interesting and like a warm bean salad, not BBQ beans. Not the best BBQ... More

This was a local BBQ for us / about 13 miles from home. It was excellent and well worth the trip. Our sandwiches included slaw with some red cabbage to make it unique. The BBQ is tomato based with a slight hint of smoke. It was served up quickly and hot. They offer chips and canned drinks for a combo... More

Had the pulled pork sandwich today with slaw and sauce. I would not call it the best I've ever had as some reviews state, but it was very good and a nice size sandwich for the price. I will come again the next time I'm in Petersburg.

We enjoyed the BBQ. The slaw, not so much. We asked for it on the side and it was definitely meant to be on the sandwich. Pulled pork and chicken both delicious. Portions are reasonable but you won't have leftovers. This is a walk-up place, no inside service at all. There are two tables with umbrella outside but we took... More
