This restaurant opened spring of 2010. Very good food at reasonable prices. Family type restaurant. Always have had excellent food and large portions. 1/2 pound hambers are $4.59. Best apple pie I have ever had. Other desserts I would like to try for only $3.99.

Huge portions

Had the lunch portion of the cornmeal battered catfish. It came with a choice of two sides. It was too much food for me. Delicious but it took too much time to get our food. Prices are reasonable.

My husband I went and order the 6 oz sirloin. The meat was tough and ugly piece and baked potato, was dry like it was cooked for a while. We went again last week and I order the light menu chile salsa breast of chicken. They brought me a little piece of breast that was chared. I sent it back.... More

The food was good and that is all i have to say about that place. Our waiter was rude and just because we were dressed causally he did not give us the time of day and to top it off you can tell he had a few drinks by the smell of his breath. We left no tip, we didn't... More

Really delicious pineapple salsa poured over marinated chicken and grilled shrimp. .outstanding! The beer battered shrimp was not as good as I thought it would be, but the shrimp itself was very good quality... Extremely helpful wait staff...I loved the little $1.49 samplers if key lime pie. Perfect size and perfect price

Ive been to this place 2-3 times when friends invite me. This review is base on this visits Place: The places look nice from the outside and in the inside. The parking lot is big and its next to the expressway. They have a casual place theme going on. They have the lights dim out most of the restaurant, which... More

Our friends took us out to eat at Cheddars which is usually pretty good but who ever is doing the cooking needs to tone down the spice, Got the pinapple shrimp and grilled chicken with rice and was so Spicey Hot I could hardly eat it and had it at other Cheddars and not so cranked up with jalopino peppers...My... Had a New Orleans dish that was better then I got in New Orleans. The Bacon Cheddar Texas Fries are also delicious. The prices are great and the service was tremendous.

We tried Cheddar's in Brownsville for the first time for lunch, and it was quite good. The caesar salad was particularly good, and the service was outstanding. We were in Brownsville for a late morning doctor's appointment and decided to give Cheddar's a try rather than our favorite Brownsville restaurant Toscafino's. Good choice!
