Description: This restaurant opened spring of 2010. Very good food at reasonable prices. Family type restaurant. Always have had excellent food and large portions. 1/2 pound hambers are $4.59. Best apple pie I have ever had. Other desserts I would like to try for only $3.99.

We tried Cheddar's in Brownsville for the first time for lunch, and it was quite good. The caesar salad was particularly good, and the service was outstanding. We were in Brownsville for a late morning doctor's appointment and decided to give Cheddar's a try rather than our favorite Brownsville restaurant Toscafino's. Good choice!

I have absolutely nothing negative to say. The atmosphere is impeccable. The food, delicious. The serving size is reasonable. The price is low for such a great experience. Highly recommend!

I have eaten here multiple times and will most likely not return to eat. The service is usually ok and you get seated at a decent time unless its a holiday. The prices are also good, and their drinks are actually really good. Especially the Painkiller. I also love their Spinach Dip appetizer. The reason I will probably not return... More

Love portions, food taste great, the price is decent, good drinks and the atmosphere is quiet. Weekends is packed and during the week at lunch hour is busy but the service is fast.

One of my fav places to eat. The Painkiller is great and the Margarita's are great and affordable too. Food is good. Been there several times to celebrate bdays. The only problem is its always packed on the weekends.

This cheddars we were sitted quickly and accomodated our table for 8 people. We did not have a long wait and our orders were taken as soon as we were ready. The prices are affordable and the food was great.

Had a soup and salad myself, salmon for my wife. Both excellent at a moderate price. Not too crowded, a little light on service. All in all, a nice evening out.

6/6/14 I entered this cafe for the first time with high hopes for a nice lunch (12 o'clock on the dot). Three people were at the hostess station so engaged in their business they could not greet the customer. Just as i turned to leave one looked up and said "hello". I said "goodbye" and left. Experience has taught me... More

I only enjoy this restaurant chain's margaritas and the painkiller. I also enjoy the croissants. Other than that, everything else is average. Stick to the alcoholic drinks.

I was expecting a Chili's type cafe but was nothing like it. More of a home cooking experience with well made meals and at a decent price. Probably not a place for noisy kids but it would be fine early in the day.
