The place is small, but the art and the staff keep it interesting. The poblano soup is the best I have had in town. The 1/2 sandwich and cup of soup combo is hard to beat. more

I found this place by accident, was just driving down Staples and turned at CVS and saw it. It looked like it would be fun to eat at. The man who greets you as you walk in is a pleasant surprise. The place wasn't packed but still over hall full. I sat over by the fireplace, it was a windy... more

Nuevo Cafe is a favorite for lunch in Corpus Christi. The poblano soup is wonderful and they have the best pimento cheese sandwich ever. The homemade chips are delicious. Service is fast and friendly, but you need to get in before noon if you hope to be out by 1. more

This Quirky, artistic, "weird" little sandwich shop / shrine to Elvis aka. THE KING, has won over the hearts of many in Corpus christi. The food is as fresh as you can get and the prices very reasonable. Must dos include: Roasted Poblano pepper soup, club sandwhiches and the chicken salad. Don't forget their to die for (made from scratch... more
