My girlfriend and I stopped by Nuevo Cafe one day after class, and we enjoyed it. I had the nuevo club, and she a sandwich that included Granny Smith apple. The combination of the richness from the meat and cheese paired well with the sweetness from the apple. The both enjoyed the poblano soup the most. It is really unique... More

Small cafe with the best food ever. They are famous for their Pueblano Soup. A spicy, cream soup that goes well with any of their sandwiches. Moderate prices and great food.

The food at Nueavo Cafe is amazing. They have a poblano soup that is delicious and a meal in itself. Their sandwiches are fresh takes on old classics. I had the pimento cheese which was completely made from scratch and completely delicious. My mother had a BLT with a Texas twist of jalapenos. She said it was delicious. The only... More

I use to be a fan and loved it, however, this last experience was awful, I found a roach leg in my poblano soup... Was so sad cuz it's so good... And now I vowed to never go back... If you want to take the chance go ahead, but I will not go back there again... For fear of finding... More

This is a fantastic lunch spot featuring sandwiches, soups, and other daily specials. Lots of veggie options, quick service and great food. The poblano soup is legendary!

A friend took me here for lunch, and then I quickly took my husband back so he could experience this little place. The menu is simple, but everything we have tried is delicious. The poblana soup is my new favorite food. It is the best soup I have ever had. The chicken salad is excellent! They are only open for... More

If you go to Nuevo Cafe (which is highly advisable), you MUST try the pablano soup, REALLY! It's so good! They also make the best Cobb salad I've ever had.

The location is not ideal, but if you work downtown this place is worth remembering--and obviously people do, as it is usually busy. On a recent visit we ordered the fried green tomatoes for a starter and I had a bowl of the poblano soup--both delicious, and I could only eat about a third of the soup as it is... More

After several glowing reviews, I finally stopped by this smaller, unassuming cafe near Six Points. I was not disappointed! The disco tea was delicious, and the famous poblano soup left me wanting more, even after a large bowl. Arrive as close to 11 as possible or be prepared to wait 30 min - an hour. A friend took me here for lunch. Very simple atmosphere, really like all the art on the walls. The menu is simple with soup, salads and sandwiches. The food was fresh and very good. Service was good and the $ was great.
