My experience at the City Diner taught me a very important lesson. While the food was acceptable, the service was lukewarm at best. We just returned from the best experience we have had on our trip to the Gulf Coast. One of the six in our party told us about the City Diner in downtown Corpus. While on vacation in Corpus, we had lunch at this diner. They had the best tortilla soup I have ever tasted. Everything looked simply delicious. The next day we had a wonderful breakfast and the best coffee I have ever tasted. The workers were fast, friendly and greeted you with a smile. I highly recommend this diner. more
