I have dined at Acapulco on multiple trips to Corpus and it is usually my favorite mexican place. My last visit was very disappointing. I don't know what these people are talking about...Taqueria Acapulco is the worst place to eat. The staff is rude, they feel like they own the place and are very disrespectful. This small Mexican Restaurant has very good food. Not a chain operation just a good, clean, mom and pop operation. more
Not the fanciest place in town but the cheese enchilladas and queso will quickly make you forget all your worries. From the gorgeous waitresses (who sometimes do not understand English) to the jukebox full of Tejano hits, it's hard to get more authentic than this for Tex Mex. I lived in Corpus Christi for 3 years and Acapulco was the only place i would trust for great mexican food. The service is friendly and fast, the prices are the cheapest i have found and the food is consitantly great. Parking can be a problem, but it is worth the headache. more
