This was my 2nd visit to La Playa on Saratoga. Visited in 2008 and thought it was just average. Second visit this week I was much more impressed. My husband and I stopped there on our way back home per the rating on tripadvisor... The outside building is a bit misleading but once inside the atmosphere was much more pleasant. Food was hot and delicious . Service was timely without being annoying . And the prices were very reasonable. Definitely will eat there again! more

La Playa is great! We like the one on Saratoga the best. They have fajitas that are smothered in a cream type sauce...its wonderful!! the fried avacados are SO GOOD. Everything is pretty much excellent...especially the salsas! Oh the enchiladas! more
First, service was perfect from start to finish. Great salsa's (red and verde). We had fish tacos, bacon wrapped shrimp, and guac. Everything was excellent. Tasy refried and charro beans. We will return often. more
We've been in town since Friday, and today we had lunch at La Playa. I'd seen the reviews on TripAdvisor and took the advice - thank you!! We stopped in on a Wednesday evening for dinner and were happy to have been sat right away. They run a happy hour until 7pm, drinks were very reasonable. Food was served warm and it was great.
