As good as it can get

Food: - Best is "complimentary muffins" - freshly baked and yummy and free - Excellent sides: gumbo pretty solid, not like gourmet ones from New Orleans but hey, it comes with entrée so no complaint. Creamy corn is really good. It is not coming from cans (over refined and yucky). You can still... read more

Our breakfast of eggs, sausage, hash browns and toast was very good. The service was fast and efficient. The decor is old fashion with two trains running on tracks over the tables all the way around the walls. Nice, friendly neighborhood people.

We were very pleased with the food and the service at Andy's. We had the chicken fried steak with extra crispy hash browns and scrambled eggs, all cooked to perfection. The second meal was a tasty breakfast quesadilla with guacamole and sour cream. The meals were so plentiful that we took home leftovers. I'm just not sure what the hype... More

While in Corpus Christie I wanted to visit the highest rated restaurant for lunch. This was Andy's kitchen. I have no clue why this place rates #1 in a large city like Corpus with so much variety. The food is "country style" aka just about everything is fried with choice of sides. It also has breakfast and a few tex... More

We enjoyed a fabulous lunch. I had the vegetable plate with excellent mashed potatoes, fried okra, green beans and squash. Coworkers had spaghetti, fried fish and a BLT. The daily special even came with a delicious banana pudding. Definitely a great lunch spot.

There is always a wait but due to efficient waitstaff, it's never too long. The breakfasts here are amazing. Stick with the Mexican offerings, but everything is good. The cute decor with the electric train circling will keep kids occupied.

We are vacationers and found this restaurant while searching Google for "best breakfast in Corpus Christi". It lives up to all of the great reviews. Food is super and the waitress tucked a bag of their complimentary muffins in our hand as we were leaving. It was the only restaurant that earned a repeat visit on our trip to CC.

This place is well know by the locals for its delicious food. We had Migas (eggs) for breakfast but every plate that passed by us looked scrumptious. Comfy, homey and very busy. I wish we would have found this spot sooner so I could have tried some of the lunch and dinner items.
