My wife and I had read the TA reviews of Andy's and were looking forward to breakfast here on a recent visit [about two weeks ago] to Corpus Christi. We have always liked these unique, family owned restaurants and seek them out. It is unfortunate that they have been nearly killed by the chains. We both ordered the same meal... More

This place is definitely not a secret. Only had to wait about 10 mins for a table, but parking lot and restaurant were full at 11am on a Thursday morning. The food was good, but the friendly waitress made the experience even better. Free blueberry muffins did a good job of holding hungry kids over until food arrived. My husband... More

My wife and I ate breakfast at Andy's yesterday (Thurs., Mar 6). The food was just as great as we've experienced in the past. As to the quantity, I was somewhat surprised that my French toast only consisted of two regular sliced pieces of bread - perhaps I ordered the senior serving by mistake - not a big deal, I... More

Israel and Agie have made Andy's one of the most popular places to eat breakfast and lunch in town. The wait staff is terrific. Ask for Victoria.

Sorry I haven't written in awhile but the galloping grandpa is out again. This time I found a hidden gem in Corpus Christi. Andy's Country kitchen on Staples St. The atmosphere is great, complete with 2 circling trains. The waitstaff is very attentive and professional. Prices are very reasonable and the food is out of this world. They serve breakfast... More

My bf and I were looking for a good place for breakfast on our recent trip to Corpus. After doing a little research, we decided on Andy's. As soon as we walked in and saw how packed the place was, I knew we had made a good desicion :) When you sit down, they give you the menus and a... More

We've eaten breakfast here many times and have yet to have anything but a very enjoyable, filling and tasty meal. The waitstaff are very proficient; they keep your coffee refilled and don't interrupt conversations. This is the classic home-style place to eat. Plus, you are sure to enjoy the trains running along the crown of the ceiling.
