My husband and I ate here for lunch on a Saturday. We'd spent the morning wandering around North Beach and the aquarium and were feeling the heat when we stopped for lunch. We just wanted some cold drinks and a light meal before touring the Lexington. Our waiter acted really irritated that he couldn't talk us into ordering more than... More

I ate here yesterday with a friend who was visiting out of town. she has eaten here a few times and even said its.not the greatest (but her daughter really wanted to eat here ). Staff seemed really nice and a bit rushed, they were pretty busy. We sat on the back porch with an amazing view of the Lexington.... More

The place looks like a run down shack and it probably was before it was made into a restaurant. Eat outside as that area seem to be better kept up for some reason. The shrimp was extremely good! It was fresh, tender, extremely flavorful, and you get a lot for the asking price. The only reason I did not give... More

Was told this was a good place to eat while gigging corpus. Should have know better just by the look of the "shack", but I thought maybe it's just supposed to "look" this way. The staff was not very friendly, the best part was eating outside with live music. The food came fairly quickly, however...within 15-20 mins of eating my... More

Great sea food. Went their 2 times on our vacation. Must eat outside!!!! Had the boiled shrimp and it was cooked perfectly (not dried out). You need to also try the shrimp with bacon and jalapeño inside that is deep fried. The only reason I didn't rate them a five is the service is HORRIBLY SLOW.

We had lunch here on a break between the aquarium and USS Lexington. The service was very attentive and there was live music as well. My husband had the catch burger (grilled mahi with grilled onions) and I had the crab cake sandwich. They were both divine. We actually planned on stopping again on our way out of town, but... More

Setting has potential -- that's got to be why the crowds come. Right off North Beach and the USS Lexington. Very little wind protection - my half-full beer bottle was literally blowing across the table! Ladies pull your hair back or wear a hat! This place is just okay if you're not in a hurry and don't expect much food... More

Party of 9 arrived at 7:30, no one waiting and they told us it would be about 10-15 minutes. The restaurant was half empty. 30 minutes later I asked what was happening. They said it was a large party. I told them we would split up and they said there were no tables near each other. After 2 hours we... More

Ate here before heading to the Aquarium and had a great time. Burgers were delicous and even though it started to sprinkle we sat under the porch and still got a great view of the Lexington.

My husband and I were staying at a condominium just a little was north of Pier 99 and we stopped there on our first night in Corpus. It was wonderfully situated, had a live band, and excellent service. The food was phenomenal. Great seafood. The sauce that they had for the fish was divine! My husband and I have been... More
