We picked this restaurant because of TripAdvisor reviews. I ordered the catfish and shrimp. The shrimp was very average in size and taste. It tasted like something you would eat in a chain restaurant. The catfish was just ok! My wife had the bacon burger and it was the best part of the meal. There are better options downtown.

We have always visited Water Street when in Corpus for many, many years. Not too happy with this visit however. Salmon very, very dry, tilapia was tasteless and the oysters were not fresh at all. Everyone said we should have sat in the back room for better service and food, but we were not given an option on arriving. This... More

Everything is fresh and delicious. Great atmosphere. Great service, every time, without fail. Expect to wait for a table if you hit at prime time, but it is so worth the wait. Eat here, or at their sister spot next door: Water Street Seafood Company. You can't miss with either of these.

I really don't like seafood but I thought I would give this a try :) It was packed and I didn't think an hour wait would be worth it.... after a little while we made our way to the bar and had a few drinks which turned out to be great!! the bar staff was very considerate and made sure... More

We were in town for a family wedding and descended on the Oyster Bar with a party of 11 and no reservation. They handled our group smoothly and we were soon seated at several tables shoved together with drinks and hot bread. I opted for the combo fried shrimp and oysters, but most of our group just went for the... More

My husband and I were in town visiting our friends who live in the area. We expressed that we love seafood, and they suggested we go to Water Street as they dine there often and enjoy the food. One of their friends met us for dinner, and so for a table of 5 we were told to expect a half... More

The food was excellent and the fish was so fresh and delicious. My only complain was the slow service, which might be because it was a little crowded. In general, I liked the food and the environment!

We eagerly visited WSOB on a Sunday evening - my mother very excited as this was her favourite restaurant 30 years prior and always visits when she’s back in Corpus. As such, we made a reservation because we remember it could get busy – we were right. Unfortunately the very rude attendant at front desk said we didn’t have one... More
