Our family stopped here on the first day of our vacation and ended up going again the next morning because it was so good!! Staff was super friendly and very helpful. We tried the blueberry cream cheese, raspberry cream cheese, apple chocolate cream cheese and would highly recommend each. Yes, chocolate even for breakfast!! It was that good. Our boys... More

Yes, we love the pastries and cakes, simply heaven but totally overprized. The same goes for the rolls or what we call in Germany "Broetchen", but $1 a piece, get real. Now here is where it gets iffy at best, my husband and I went for Tuesday dinner, he ordered the Jaegerschnitzel with Spaetzle. What he got has NO resemblance... More

Being of European heritage, I have been shopping/eating at JBs since they opened. The food is very typical of Europe and there is no place else offering the wonderful strudles, breads, and sandwiches like these! The prices are reasonable considering the quality and size of the servings. On my last visit I had a "Texas Sandwich" which was plenty for... More

Great sweets and atmosphere. This is at a great location so if we stayed closer we would have ate a meal here too. The inside is nice and clean and they have lots of room for a large crowd and an outdoor patio area too. We tried the studdles

I love all of the Home Made breads and pastries, and I am sure all of you will, too. The serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, but I have actually never had anything other than coffee and pastries.

We found this place while heading to the North Padre Island beach and decided to give it a try on the way back. The first thing we loved was the wide variety of German/European pastries, but watch out, the pastries are quite large and you will be filled in not time. We also tried the lunch Sandwiches and were very... More

Spent 5 days in CC for family get-together. Had breakfast there our last day and regretted we hadn't tried it sooner. Delicious pastries - yes. But also very tasty breakfast. Good service. Friendly staff. Must go if you're there.

Service was slow and when I noticed a fly land on the pastry I wanted that was it for me! I informed the server and she promptly removed the pastry. :-) I took my order to go and would recommend the waffle and fruit cup. It was not special but it was good.

Not a noticeable place - drove by it several times. Then we found a flyer on the place and stop to have lunch. Hands down BEST FOOD EVER!!! Very friendly staff - and helpful also. They handed out samples and I do not like apple fritters - but I LOVED the ones they made!!! Will go back again and again!!!
