We found this place while heading to the North Padre Island beach and decided to give it a try on the way back. The first thing we loved was the wide variety of German/European pastries, but watch out, the pastries are quite large and you will be filled in not time. We also tried the lunch Sandwiches and were very... More

Spent 5 days in CC for family get-together. Had breakfast there our last day and regretted we hadn't tried it sooner. Delicious pastries - yes. But also very tasty breakfast. Good service. Friendly staff. Must go if you're there.

Service was slow and when I noticed a fly land on the pastry I wanted that was it for me! I informed the server and she promptly removed the pastry. :-) I took my order to go and would recommend the waffle and fruit cup. It was not special but it was good.

Not a noticeable place - drove by it several times. Then we found a flyer on the place and stop to have lunch. Hands down BEST FOOD EVER!!! Very friendly staff - and helpful also. They handed out samples and I do not like apple fritters - but I LOVED the ones they made!!! Will go back again and again!!!

Oh where to begin - so many pastries, so little time! We had both a lunch and breakfast here during our week on the island. In addition to the pastries, they also make wonderful breads for their sandwiches and French toast. They also have a shop in Corpus Christi now, but we didn't try it.

We ate breakfast at this restaurant after watching the early-morning sea turtlle hatching release at Padre Island National Seashore. The pastries here are excellent, large and filling. The omelets were OK but very reasonably priced. This is a great place to get your coffee and pastry fix. Order at the counter - anything that has to be cooked will be... More

We stopped here because of a recommendation from a friend. We were glad we did. The choices were overwhelming. My wife had a slice of Bee cake and I had a slice of peach/cream cheese struedel. Our girls had pig ears.everything was good and fresh. They had a large selection of breads that looked good along with every kind of... More

The largest selection of pastries and fresh baked items I have seen in many years. The chocolate cream cheese strudel was rich and delicious. My children loved the jalapeño kalachi. My mom said the poppy seed French toast was delicious. However, I only gave 4 stars because the service set up was awkward and it took over 30 minutes to... More

Ive been to Corpus just once on vacation and I stopped by with my family for something sweet. I couldn't even make up my mind on what pastry I wanted since there was so many and it all looked so good. They also had a breakfast menu and some sandwiches. I'm definitely stopping by again on my upcoming visit to... More
