Yum, Yum, Yum !!

There is nothing like a fresh baked German pastry for breakfast. Stop in and take some home .. or.. stay and eat there. They have great breakfast combinations and delicious German lunch sandwich specials.

The German Bakery has some authentic and awesome desserts. I will not lie, the desserts are different that what you would find in S Texas, but they are incredible. You must try this location at least once. It's that good.

Wonderful bakery goods, got a couple of different kinds. Like it so good we went to their other store in town the next Monday morning and got lots to go for out 400 mile drive home. They were all good except the one we paid for and wasn't in the bag, 400 miles later.

We bought a whole grain baguette, an onion baguette, sesame bagels, black cherry pastry and a cinnamon pastry. I would not buy any of their pastries again ($2.50 each) as they were very dry and lacked flavor. We arrived mid afternoon which may be why both pastries were so dry. Perhaps they had been sitting out for several hours by... More

I went early one morning and had a croissant. The lady working there also brought me samples of 4 other pastries which were all delicious. The croissant is one of the best I've had on this side of the pond. I'll be back and might try them for lunch.

I lived in Germany for 3 years so I was more than happy to have breakfast and eat familiar food! Tasty omelet, wonderful bread and I took home several pretzels, cookies and a chocolate croissant! Would return! Loved it!

on a drive around Corpus Christi we discovered this little gem! A bakery paradise, a very warm welcome on entering the cafe and such a assortment of breads, cakes and savouries! Possibly too many as we wanted to try them all! A wonderful array of treats , guarantee we shall return before returning to Spain at the end of out holiday.

Wonderful old world style bakery well worth going out for. The location on mapquest is too far south on san padre island dr (22). When turning south off of hwy 361 it is on your right hand side before the next stop. Light (white cap). It is an weathered lighter aqua building with distinctive angular front.

Stopped by coincident in this bakery and we bought some homemade bread (pumpernickel and french bread). If I wasn't diabetic I would of bought many of delicious looking pastry. All the pastries look so so good. I will definitely go again to buy some of the cookies for my grand kids. If they were to start making some diabetic friendly... More

The owners had their wood burning oven shipped here from Germany to bake their breads. Desserts change daily and are made fresh every night. It is worth the trip no matter from how far away you are. They serve German style breakfast and lunch.
