We are so glad the desk clerk at our hotel said this place was much better than any of the closer Mexican choices. We had dinner here one night on a brief visit to Corpus. We really liked the place. Food was good, service was good, atmosphere was good. My wife had a chicken/bacon preparation she liked very much. I... More

Being from Corpus Christi, I have heard of Señor Jaime. Just never gotten around to eating there. Being in South Texas we have a large selection of "tex-mex" restaurants. The hard part is finding one that has good food and is clean. Señor Jaime's fits the bill for both requirements. Was very pleasantly surprised. Had the puffy tacos and the... More

Let me begin by saying that we are well traveled and are restaurant people. We can be quite picky about food as we are both closet gourmets. While in Corpus Christi on vacation and having already done four days of fine dining, we both decided a good Tex-Mex dinner sounded good. I am not a huge "authentic" fan but love... More

I do not know but seems like a family business, everyone tries to ensure you are satisfied. One visit we had sample appetizer which was perfect for a light meal for 2. Next visit was Chile Rellano and fajita nachos both of which were well portioned and great. Will go back for a 3rd visit.

Very good food, nice atmosphere. A step above the normal locally owned Mexican food restaurant. Real cloth table cloths, professional staff

They make fresh guacamole at the table, use boneless chicken, and great service. Decent prices and not dirty, very clean, and waiters and waitresses are dressed and serve very professionally. The food is so good here.

Who would have thought you could find the best cheesecake at a mexican food restaurant? Do yourself a "flavor" and order the chocolate brownie cheesecake. Made from scratch by the owner daily, if you order nothing else order this. All other items are excellent and fresh of note are the caldo talpeno and the table side guacamole. Enjoy!

This Tex-Mex Restaurant has good food and good libations. The home made guacamole and tortillas are excellent. The Big Rooster and the exterior building gives you a nice welcome. The owners work there and are extra friendly!

Senor Jaimes is a good choice for solid Tex Mex entrees for a reasonable price. The decor is somewhat eclectic, but definitely clean and comfortable. The real standout of the place is the tableside guacamole (some of the best I've had). Otherwise, the entrees come out as expected, good but not great.
