We chose McLoone's for the seafood and location on the water. The food was mediocre and the server disinterested. Our dinner came out right on top of our appetizers. disappointing

Absolutely horrible dining experience. Can't believe how this restaurant has gone down hill. Ordered San Pellegrino for our table and the waiter had to ask me if that was some kind of bottled water. Then he brought it to the table with no glasses and proceeded to spend two minutes trying to unscrew a non-screw cap off the bottle. I... More

We stopped at McLoone's for lunch after touring the National Harbor. It was too hot to sit outside, so we got a table by the window with a view of the harbor. Maria was our waitress and if you really want a great experience, ask for Maria to wait on your table. She doesn't hove, but seems to have a... More

Brought a corporate group to National Harbor for an offsite. Visited McLoone's twice. Once just for of us for happy hour and appetizers at the bar. Service was lousy but it was Father's Day and the place was packed with people. Constant reminders to staff about they forgot this or that. One time, the waiter left us mid order and... More

We tried to stop in for lunch. We made the mistake of requesting outdoor seating. We were first seated at a table with no umbrella and we would have roasted under a very hot sun had we sat down. There was another table with an umbrella but we were told to go back inside, the table would be cleaned and... More

I had my all-time favourite food: Crab legs with chips, veggies and melted butter. Had some lovely wine with that and watched the sun go down over the DC area. My waiter was great and very attentive without making me feel like I was spening 1,5 hours on a pair of crab legs -which I did mind you :) Had... More

Can't beat the location of this waterside restaurant right along the Potomac River. Weather and wait permitting, try to get a table outside. Spectacular sunset view. Food was very tasty. Only downside of the dinner was the service, it was spotty at best. Restaurant wasn't overly crowded, but took forever for waiter to return with drinks or check back with... More

Very good quality food and presentation. Good beer of tap but tap was broken.(had one though) a little expensive but worth it. Option to sit outside facing the water

Eat at McCormick and Schmick's next door. This was the saddest seafood I have ever eaten or seen. The service was slow and not very nice. Will not go there again.

We went for a nice joint-anniversary dinner while traveling and we weren't disappointed. We started with cocktails and when the waiter overheard us toasting he brought a flower to our table to designate the occasion. We had the crab cakes knowing they are a specialty of the area and loved them! The place was full of energy from the "happy... More
