The National Pastime Sports Bar / Grill is locatedon the lower level of the Gaylord Hotel complex. Since I checked in late, this was the only restaurant in the atrium that was open, so that made our choice easy. The atmosphere is similar to almost every sports bar I've been to. Not that it's a bad thing, and I wasn't... More

Our first night in town and we were treated with dinner here as most of the other restaurants at this location were closed. Our food was decent, our server was quite on point and attentive. Prices were a bit much considering the season and lack of patrons. All in all not bad.

Food was good/reasonably priced - conveniently located in hotel Service was above average for this type of eatery. Nothing "negative" about this restaurant

The atmosphere is basically that of a sports bar. The food is average and the service was average. The wait staff was mostly standing around and it took a while to get our order taken and drinks. Drinks and food are expensive for what you get.

At 10:30pm this restaurant had about 40 people in it but no one who would wait on you. We were told multiple times that we had to order from the bar and there was no one to help us. When we tried to get a table we were told that there were none clean. Do these people know how to... More

A sports bar located in the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center. My wife and I had had drinks and dinner here as we were staying at the Gaylord Hotel for a conference. National Pastime is the only casual dining option at the Gaylord Hotel that is open late. They have a huge circular bar. National Pastime serves great burgers... More

Service in this hotel 's restaurants is exceedingly slow and indifferent. Ate here more than once as this was the only affordable restaurant open for lunch and dinner during my stay. We had one excellent server out of 5 meals. The food, however is very tasty and fairly reasonably priced. has a decent variety of items to choose from the... More

The National Pastime Sports Bar / Grill is conveniently located on the lower level of the Gaylord Hotel complex, so I grabbed a quick bite after stepping off the Acela and a cab ride from Union Station, after check-in. Wasn’t expecting a high end dining experience, and my expectations were met. This is an average sports bar and grill which... More

My collegueges and I were at a convention at Gaylord National, we wanted a quick lunch. We visited this sports bar for a beer & burger. The service was on the slow side, the beer was WAY OVERPRICED. $7.50 for a beer? Ca'mon. The food was also very very overpriced. $14 for a cheeseburger. What is this? Chicago?? We're in... More
