A quick way to enjoy the best foods of Germany, without traveling thousands of miles to get there, is to stop and enjoy the food at this wonderful little place in downtown Salt Lake City. While you are satisfying taste buds with wurst, sauerkraut and pastry, you can even read from recent German magazine publications. The service is friendly, the... More

This little place has fantastic, authentic German food for exceptional prices. The staff is all European and take pride in the food. The deli side has AMAZING sausages, brauts, schnitzel, etc., for purchase to try your hand at home. They also have a small, but well stocked market of import items supporting the full range of German fare. Great place!!!

A great New York style deli with a great menu and a long bench seating area for people watching. There is a reason why this place always has a crowd.

If you love German food this is the place for you. It was easy to see that this place has authentic German food. The problem is that I had never really had German food and I learned it's just not for me. Nevertheless, if you like it I'd say stop by!

I tried this first two years ago before the symphony. We went for closing night of the symphony as well. We go there several times a year. When we talk about cravings, it's summed up with "Wiener schnitzel." It's worth having to sit by the grocery section to eat there.

Siegfried's sell and serves German food and goods, you can sit and eat there, warm food or sandwiches, just point what you would like to have to eat, and afterwards, you can buy the things you want to take with you, from Europe. Go and see what they have and you might like it.

I visited Siegried's in August and was in love at first bite! Having visited Germany and Austria I can say that this food is authentic. Great atmosphere - great food. Had the weinerschnitzel, sauerkraut & potatoes. It will definitely tide me over until I can get back to Bavaria. A new favorite in my old home town.

Self service, German deli. We had wiener schnitzel, German potato salad and sauerkraut. It cost $12 per person. We would have paid a lot more. Our friends, German ex-pats, could not contain their glee. They assured us that the food was authentic and perfect. Michele and I agreed. Just the right crispiness to the veal, just the right amount of... More

I recently visited with my daughter in Salt Lake City, Utah, and just minutes after she picked me up at the airport, we were ordering lunch at Siegfried's Deli. For us, there is nothing like a good, German restaurant. We had a variety of sausages with spaetzle, sauerkraut, rotkraut and the best fried potatoes. I wish I were there right... More

We were very excited to find a restaurant with authentic German food. Very simple and straightforward. We had bratwurst, knackwurst, red cabbage and spaetzle. Delicious!
