Delicious Dinner

My son and I had a delicious dinner at Aristo's. It's mostly a "small plate" menu, and we prefer that anyway. We ordered several dishes and enjoyed those between the two of us. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, and the food was served without delay. My only suggestion would be to warm up the... read more

Everything on the menu is excellent !!! This is the kind of place where you tell the server bring me one of everything, we had everything from soup to desert, The grilled octopus is tasty and tender, the greek salad is great and the lemon chicken or lentil soup are wonderful. Our server was Alfredo and he was terrific By... More

We went there for lunch before attending a matinee at Eccles Theater. The food is pretty close to the good things we have eaten in Athens, Greece. My husband had the chicken souvlaki and Greek salad and I had the spanakopita with the Greek salad. The salads were served with warm pita bread. The service was prompt in order to... More

Two of us had lunch at Aristo's and it was our first visit. I was taken with the stylish minimalist décor, very different from many Greek restaurants. The service was good, not exceptional, but solidly good. The food was really quite good. I'd definitely like to try dinner there, as the dinner menu looks interesting. The one draw back to... More

This is one of my favorite Greek restaurants. We went on a Friday night and had a relatively short wait. Normally you won't get into this restaurant on the weekends without a reservation. Our server was not the greatest but the food was excellent as usual.

This is the Greek restaurant where the Greek restaurant owners take their wives for dinner. Lots of things to like. I am a huge fan of the grilled octopus, which is a sweet mild meat that loves the grill and a squeeze of lemon. The various pita and spreads are all great, as are the lamb chops. While lamb is... Had lunch on the outdoor patio. A little slice of Greece right in SLC. Couldn't believe our luck. Just stumbled upon this gem. Pork souvlaki juicy and flavorful. The lamb tacos heavenly. Horta salad delish-and to top it off- frappe straight from Thessaloniki with a variant of rolled baklava. Wonderful food. Authentic to the last little bit.Loved it. Oh- and... More

Awaiting our red-eye back, we had our best meal for last to end our family ski trip. Everything we had was awesome. Grilled octopus is a must. Twice baked Eggplant and the Lamb Ribs were off the charts. Had the gyro flights. All good but the other stuff, you could tell, was cooked from the heart!

Probably have been here 15 times over the years, most recently yesterday. Everything I have ever ordered has been good to great. Yesterday, it was the lamb tacos - yum. Only criticism is that it is somewhat pricier than would be expected for the type of food and the Salt Lake market, e.g., 3 lamb tacos, ala carte - $15.

We're always searching for a good Greek restaurant comparable to our favorites overseas. Aristos came close. Service was great and we liked the selection of dishes. It's locally popular and has a good selection of beers and wines. We always watch the TV Show "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" (why he came here, I don't know, it's no dive) so were... More
