A bit noisy, but you can't beat the food

This is a popular pre-event restaurant at the western edge of the University of Utah campus. If you want to carry on a comfortable conversation, try to arrive before the crowd--5:30-5:45 pm is good. As for the cuisine? Sumptuous. I love it!

This is a white-tablecloth Greek restaurant that doesn't break the bank. Some of the highlights are gyros appetizers served up like ice-cream cones, with dollops of tomatoes and tzatziki. Based on a couple of recent visits, I would say order carefully. Some of the dishes are fabulous, like the small-plates imam baldi, a twice-baked eggplant about the size of a... More

Caught wind of this gem via Triple D. Guy was right to step a little outside his normal style and try something a bit more upscale. Much of the menu is small plates - European style - and most decidedly Greek. Great to get a bunch and share. Everything that I tried I would gladly recommend to every one I... More

Beautifully prepared mini-gyros of several varieties, if a bit small. The broiled octopus was perfectly cooked and incredibly good. Nice selection of wines, reasonably priced. Extremely friendly but not overbearing staff. And live Greek music on Thursday evenings! A great improvement over the usual Greek souvlaki places.

Very good, authentic Greek. It was a local gem. Family owned no chain here. Very tasty. Large Greek salad was huge, enough for at least 3.

We had a fantastic server that gave us great suggestions--I wish I remembered her name! I went with 7 of my girlfriends on our annual girls trip and we all loved it!

Most important: The food was excellent. We were there for lunch at had a chicken Gyro and Lamb tacos. Both wins. The wide cut fries were pretty good. I liked the setting pretty well. Clean, contemporary, bright. Service was fine, no complaints. It was surprisingly slow for a weekday lunch. It was more than I expected to pay for lunch... More
