My boyfriend and I came here last night, I wasn't feeling good and we had to take the food to go. It was still on our minds today to the point that we came back! We are only in SLC for two nights! We are dining here for both of them. Great menu, service and food. Prices are fair. Overall... More

I was in Salt Lake City for a conference, eating stale conference center food all week until we finally had a chance to break free and try a local restaurant. My friend had the lamb korma and I enjoyed a very fresh salmon In coconut milk with curry- both were delicious with basmati rice. My friend sipped a mango lasse... More

I'm in Salt Lake for a conference in which I am fed conference center catering with 1000 others. I just wanted a nice, quiet meal prepped in a kitchen slightly smaller than a football field and equipped with both salt and pepper. What I got was one of the best dishes I have ever eaten. I love Indian and I've... More

For the first time in my life, I had goat meat and was extremely impressed! Food is well-balanced and utilizes a very nice blend of spices. They have everything necessary for the full experience, including indian beer. Waiters were very nice and helpful.

We went here for a graduation lunch with 8 people and the lunch buffet was a perfect way to satisfy different tastes and introduce Indian food to my teenager. All of the food on the buffet was delicious, other than the tandoor chicken being a little dry. The buffet is a great value. We also ordered a few items off... More

During my recent visit to the ski slopes of the SLC area, I was tipped off to this great restaurant by a SLC local. I had to make a special trip to dine there, before my airport departure, as it is in downtown SLC. The food is different from routine Indian fare, seemingly more fragrant and interestingly prepapred, though the... More

Our visit here was quite frigid. No special friendliness or recommendation. More of a "get-fed-and-pay" place. Hi and Bye.

I am not usually an Indian food fanatic, but if I lived by the Himalayan Kitchen, I can see it happening. AMAZING food. Really hard to get into the place.

Dropped in here for lunch..had a buffet going..rather skimpy selection. Were seated but felt like we were intruding, should have left before we ordered but didn't. Won't go back. Even when we paid our bill and left, there was no "Thank You for coming..just stone face. Will definitely NOT go back

We are at Himalayan kitchen twice in the course of 2 days in Salt Lake City. We love Indian and and we have visited very many. This qualifies as one if the best. The Korma, the Baigan Bharta and the Samosas are great
