This is my favorite place to recommend people to eat for great food and to watch the sunset while you eat, it is at the top floor and over looks the city.

Anyone visiting Salt Lake City this is a must stop. You have to visit temple square and why not grab a bite to eat while you do. It overlooks the temple and a nice view of some of the mountains too. Go there later at night so you can catch sunset and see the temple with lights on too. This... More

The view from the 10th floor of the Temple is breathtaking. The atmosphere and the service impeccable. My friend and I stopped for a light dinner. We shared the Loaded Kettle Chips and a Pear Gorgonzola Salad. The Kettle Chips were too salty and the bacon on it too fatty. Neither of us cared for it. The salad was wonderful.... More

Our first time in this lovely restaurant. Delicious food for lunch. Lots of menu choices. Lovely service. Good view, especially at the table around the glass windows, but the observation section just outside the restaurant is where you should take pictures. A bit pricey for sandwiches, but a lovely, relaxing way to treat yourself.

I took a friend with me from Las Vegas for a weekend in Salt Lake City. She had never been to Salt Lake, so I booked a table at the Garden restaurant near temple square for lunch. First of all, the view is absolutely beautiful. And the waiter we had (Jayce) was very friendly and attentive. He had a great... More

I have been here several times both when I lived in SLC and since I moved away. Ate there last week and sad to say the place is going down hill food wise, kind of like the Roof did and is. The view of course is still awesome and still worth it. Like before, the released some balloons out the... More

We love the view and the service. The food is ok. There is a good selection of menu items but you can definitely get better food at a cheaper price elsewhere. But it's not always about just the food!

We were touring Temple Square and decided to get a bite to eat in the square. We were very surprised when we were told about the Garden Restaurant. It was located in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building on the 10th floor with huge window overlooking the snow covered mountains and valley to the west of Salt Lake City. We asked... More

Have been here twice. The food is nothing special but the view is one-of-a-kind. Great place to bring out of town guests for the experience, but I probably won't be back.
