Go for the view, not the food

Have been here twice. The food is nothing special but the view is one-of-a-kind. Great place to bring out of town guests for the experience, but I probably won't be back.

I love the view, the restaurant, the atmosphere, and the fact that they change up the menu about every six months. I especially appreciate the ample portion size, providing good value. They always provide excellent service. So, what's not to like? If you come during a highly busy time, I recommend a reservation.

I have gone here many times over my 20 years here....we would take directors for lunch so they get to see a great city view (I am in the film business) and we can explain how the city is laid out...the roof slides back on good days.

Had a very good dinner at the this restaurant. The service was a little slow, but the food was good and the views are outstanding.

We are there for lunch. It is not expensive at all consider the great view. However, the catch is the food is really not that good. Maybe it all depends on what you order. The one especially not that good is the turkey dinner. The stuffing is really dry as well as the turkey. The waitress is not that attending,... More

This is the sister restaurant to The Roof just across the breezeway in the same hotel. The food offered is so delicious and, if not for the reasonable prices, you might assume you were in a New York restaurant. The waiters and waitresses buzz around swiftly and the chefs look very smart in their clean white jackets with typical chef... More

Loved it! The service was great, the food was delicious, the presentation was superb and the atmosphere was just the right amount of casual. We visited on New Years Eve, and it was perfect. We sat right by the window, in full view of the temple. There was also live music, just a girl and her guitar. I will definitely... More

In SLC for New Year's Eve. Live singer had volume up so you couldn't hear across the table. Manager kind enough to adjust downward slightly. Loved the fried pickle appetizer. Limited selection on the entree's. Waitstaff had multiple problems with delivering our order accurately. Food was good. Sampled all three desserts and favored chocolate cake and cheesecake over creme brûlée.... More

Every meal my wife and I share is fantastic. We always share because the portions are generous. The first time we went, the soup of the day was Corn Chowder, and that was hands down the bes soup we had ever tasted. Unfortunately, we have not been lucky enough to encounter it once since that first visit, eight years ago.
