This was the 2nd time I ate at this restaurant this year. Both times the food was good, both times the service was bad. There were just 2 of us and dinner took 2.5 hours. We'd been seated for over an hour before our salads arrived. The table next to us got up & left because after 30 min, no... More

Nice restaurant located in an old Firestone Tire center. Doesn't sound attractive, but they've done a great job with the décor, very comfortable. The waiter we had was knowledgeable about both the menu and wine list. Pasta was cooked perfectly. Everything was good and no complaints. Located just around the corner from Caputo's market. I plan on returning for another... More

Excellent food and fabulous service! We were served by Abigail (great server!) and loved every minute of our dinner. Restaurant is upscale but not uptight. We ordered a Chicken Piccata and Lasagne, both were absolutely excellent! I have read several other reviews mentioning Valter's absence and the restaurant having changed. True, Valter is a larger than life character, but he... More

We had been there many years ago and something has changed. it was a miserable experience, very poor service, made excuses for everything, and the food quality was sub-substandard. this is a place that we will avoid and recommend our friend steer clear of as well. on of our most disappointing dining experience and recommend that you go to one... This was a business dinner. Ordered drinks waitress couldn't make a diaquiri...told there was no blender. Order a straigh scotch; 25 minutes later it arrived. The other drinks arreved in waves. (3 at a time). Dinner was placed in front of 2 dinners and taken away; told you don't want these. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Food was excellent. Overall experience.....good thing the... More

Hadn't been to Cucina since Valter left, but decided to try the special five-course dinner with a Groupon. Ordered promptly and told the waiter we had 1 hour 20 minutes to dine. No problem, he said. Enjoyed the seafood antipasti, but then waited 35 minutes for our next course (ravioli and gnocchi which were nicely prepared). Another 25 minutes went... More

Although the food and service was superb, I have to give NO stars! We made reservations more than a week ahead of time and even though there were many tables not used, we were seated right next to the entrance to the kitchen and notorious for being the worst table in the restaurant (it was very noisy and busy). We... More

I loved the food, wine and atmosphere. Worth the money. Wish I could afford to return more often. Only dislike is the parking, however it's terrible to park anywhere downtown, so not exclusive to this restaurant.

What a great surprise while visiting SLC! Everything on the menu looked delicious. It was difficult to make a selection. Pastas were homemade and excellent. Cesear salad was good but really not made tableside. Chocolate molten cake w/gelato was just the right size for 2. Wine list was limited but acceptable. Only negative was service as it was average. Pour... More

Couldn't ask for better service on night with no other diners in sight until way later. We were worried, but soon go over that while enjoying the Caprese e Prosciutto appetizer. Top notch. Then we shared the Pasta Duo and Pollo in Saltimbucca. Very tasty and well presented. Wine list was OK for this level of restaurant. We enjoyed a... More
