Great food, slow, awkward service, EXPENSIVE!

6 of us visited during a conference. Service was slow from the beginning and never recovered, although the restaurant was half empty. The server seemed unhappy, and was not very welcoming at all. We had dined at several other, much less expensive restaurants this week, and the server made us feel... read more

This has to be the best Italian food I've had, inside and outside of Italy. Everything was a 10! Ben our server was also amazing. Kinda pricey but well worth it. Don't skip dessert.

I did not expect to find a quality Italian restaurant in SLC.. Have been to many other types-- all very good. Cucina Toscana was exceptional. Service, atmosphere, menu, courtesy and attentiveness of everyone on staff, and the food were as excellent as any restaurant in any city. Don't miss it!!!

Friendly, personable staff with great attention to detail in regards to service and presentation! Everything from the complimentary bruschetta, to our delicious caesar salad prepped tableside, my chicken marsala, sea salt lemon gelato drizzled with limoncello for dessert...it all was amazing! As if I hadn't had enough to eat by this time, I couldn't resist server Ben's offer of fine... More

Very impressive menu and quality of food presented during every course. Almost everything we ordered had final preparation at the table which added a nice touch. The service and entire crew very much had their act together which is always good to have for a pleasant meal. Every attention to detail is taken care of and the entire experience makes... More

I love this place. Valter the owner has moved on to his new restaurant, and I haven't eaten here ins several years but I used to go every year for my wifes anniversary. It's located in an old tire shop, and I like the old brick ambiance. Some of the food is a little fancy schmancy, for my palate, but... More

My husband and I recently tried Cucina Toscana because we had a KSL certificate and were in the Salt Lake area. We had an early reservation and were seated immediately upon arrival. The restaurant is clean, bright, and has a nice ambiance. Upon reviewing the extensive menu, I was feeling overwhelmed. In addition to the many menu options available, our... More

Great night out. Margarita is an amazing server! She was very informative and recommended great dishes. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Salt lake. It is located in one of the oldest building in Salt Lake. Authentic cuisine in a great setting with wonderful staff. The food was wonderful, I loved the bruschetta!

This place is awesome! I would recommend any of the pasta dishes. Excellent food and to wrap it all up with a cup of chocolate ended the perfect meal

This one is a medal by itself. The pasta was done as it should be and the sauces we tasted were unforgotten. Exquisite! Worth every penny, although in the expensive side of the restaurants in town. If you have to celbrate go there. I the money is the matter go to valter.
