When I drop over $200 for 1 in SLC, I expect to check that this one of the best meals ever.... can't say this here!

The food was acceptable and above average. The service was impeccable. That said, nothing special or unique about this restaurant. The location is on the skirts of downtown, convenient to the main attractions and events. The interior is nicely decorated with a bit of an odd layout as to how... read more

I am very picky with food. I am someone who wants authenticity to the cuisine as close as I can get it when it comes to the origination of the food's origin and ethnicity. So I look for that with places that indicate they can do that and meet that expectation. I, at least try to give them that. Cucina... More

Went here with a group of coworkers from all over North America. The food was amazing and the service was top notch! Everyone enjoyed their meals...which is sometimes an impossible feat with a group of 12. I highly recommend doing there "Tour of Tuscany", it's an appetizer sampler of the starters on the menu. This started our dining experience off... More

My friends visiting from out of town went to Cucina Toscana on my recommendation. On 12/22/14. They had a horrible experience which made me feel very guilty and though I was not present, I felt it important to tell their story. I had not visited C.T. in the last few years but assumed it was still wonderful. Management has changed... More

I'm not really an Italian food fan (pasta and such), but I look forward to eating at Cucina Toscana, each time we go. This upper end restaurant has incredible food. Treat yourself to their "Tour of Tuscany" if you want a multiple course dinner and Italian the way it should be. The endearing character "Valter" is no longer there but... More

I used to travel to SLC quite often and always made it a point to eat dinner at Cucina Toscana while in town. My family had a late flight into town a few years back and thought I was crazy when I insisted that we eat there even though it was nearly 10PM, but everyone still talks about how fantastic... More

and one of favorites over all. I have eaten here many times and it my first choice for out of town guests and clients. The food and service has been outstanding on every occasion. From homemade pasta to homemade gelato everything is fresh and perfectly prepared and plated. Owner Valter Nassi brought his years of success in New York City... More

This place has some excellent Italian. The entree is quite varied with a choice of pasta dishes as well as veal and seafood. The salads are very delicious. The Caesar, made while watch, is outstanding. Be sure to ask for extra anchovies! The service is usually very good. Ask to be seated in Elizabeth's section. A very nice wine list... More

This was the 2nd time I ate at this restaurant this year. Both times the food was good, both times the service was bad. There were just 2 of us and dinner took 2.5 hours. We'd been seated for over an hour before our salads arrived. The table next to us got up & left because after 30 min, no... More
