The reviews are all right - great dishes, ingredients, portions. Get there early and wait outside with a roadie in hand :-)

One of the best Mexican food I have ever had. Yes even better than Mexican restaurants in Albuquerque or Santa Fe. Coming back to SLC in 3 weeks and will go back

I have been eating at the Red Iguana for years! They have an amazing variety of meals and special dishes. Their Moles and enchiladas and Killer Nachos are amazing. There is always a lone and they don't do reservations but it is really worth the wait. They also have a second location a block and a half away if the... More

Authentic Mexican at its best! Best known for their delicious mole sauces... and even their steak and chicken fajitas are outstanding!

Best mole I've had! We waited an hour to be seated, but they serve delicious chai outside as you wait, so that made the experience better. They let us sample the mole options before ordering and once we ordered, our food came quickly. Overall, a solid meal, but the restaurant was loud and we were seated close to a group... More

Place was packed. Place is a little dated and could use some freshening up. However the service was good and the food was great.

After picking up my husband at the airport, this is almost always the next place we stop! I recently took my sister here when she flew in from California and she loved it too! I think she is "on" with this airport tradition! My sister wasn't sure what to get so she got the Red Iguana plate like I did--it... More

We went here based on the reviews from Trip Advisor. It was just ok. I expected more because it's rated #3 for SLC. We all had the chimichanga and none of us would order it again.

Ultimately the best Mexican food we've ever had north of the border (saw it from Guy Fieri Cooking channel). Everything we ordered was E X C E L L E N T !!!!! The service, the food, the presentation, food temperature, the portions, the atmosphere, the price. I came specifically for the mole. Ask for the mole sampler first; there's... More
