Third visit to this establishment, and have never been disappointed. The clam chowder is very good, as well as the cedar planked salmon. Service is good and attentive. The entrees are somewhat overpriced, but that is due to the restaurant being downtown. Well worth the visit.

We ate here as a large group attending a conference when a nearby sushi restaurant had too long of a wait. They had to break us up into two smaller groups, which we were OK with, but the service our group received was spotty. The waiter was slow to take our order, messed up one of our orders, and getting... More

So we had lunch at the downtown Market Grille the food was good but you get very little of it. I am not opposed to paying money for good food but this was extreme. Knowing that Gulf Coast Shrimp cost the restaurant about 44 cents each. They give you about 7 shrimp for $16.99...I should have asked how many shrimp... More

Having eaten at this restaurant for many years (both breakfast and dinner) I was sorry to see the breakfast menu prices had risen so much. However, the value of the meal still makes it one of the best places to get breakfast in the downtown area. Fresh squeezed orange juice (you can watch her squeeze the juice at the end... More

Stopped here for lunch and had a very friendly and attentive waitress. Even though they have lots of seafood specials, the burger I had was very tasty, as were the fries.

We asked a young gentleman at the registration desk of the Double Tree hotel in SLC, for a nice restaurant for dinner and his immediate response was the Market Street Grill. We really lucked out because it was wonderful and we had a fantastic waiter named Michael. Yes they were very busy but the staff is efficient and won't let... More

We suburban folk don't often get to "the big city." But from now on, we will include Market Street Grill downtown Salt Lake. Certainly for breakfast! Recently we enjoyed a visit to the restaurant. We liked the location, on a small market street and the restaurant itself is reminiscent of larger city venues with some neon, tiles, bar front, etc.... More

Market Street Grill, has good food , but it is always very busy, and you have to stand often to wait, and it might take a while before you get seated, but it is worth the wait. Because of the many people it is a bit noisy, but you go for the food, right.

When I lived in Salt Lake City, I thought Market Street Grill was fabulous and the clam chowder sensational. Returning nearly 30 years later, my opinion has not changed. I live a short distance from the Pacific Ocean where seafood restaurants abound, yet the best seafood I've had is 4,300 feet above sea level in landlocked SLC. The seafood at... More

Have been here several times. Still great food and service. Love the look and feel of the place. A bit expensive, but worth it for a night out. Went with my husband (his first time). He took a bit of the clam chowder and claimed it "awesome". The squash with my dinner was "fantabulous".
