So I made a reservation for 6pm and got there at 5:55pm and was told I would be seated Soon. We had a concert to get to at 8 and we know it usually takes 45-60 minutes to order/eat so at 6 it would have given us plenaty of time to eat and get to the show but we were... More

Market Street is a pricey lunch spot, but the food is always good...fresh and well-prepared. I had the fish tacos, which were VERY reasonably priced. I liked every aspect of this taco. The fish was superb, the coleslaw was good, and the corn tortillas were delicious. We had the almond/raspberry torte for dessert....also delicious. Our waiter was outstanding. I would... More

Very noisy but decent food. I like that they have fresh daily sheet. Recommend the ahi tuna and the seafood platter

Not inexpensive but food was good. Had a free appetizer which was disappointing. I had the Atlantic Salmon which was very tasty. My friend had the Halibut. He said it was great. Bread was dry but as sourdough goes ok. We both had clam chowder which was very good. I had Creme Brûlée for dessert. Small portion but fine. My... More

My husband and I were both disappointed in our dinner recently. His cedar planted salmon and my halibut Oscar were both overcooked and dry. Very disappointing considering how pricey these entrees were. My brown rice was gummy and not edible. The service was terrific though, as was the atmosphere.

This restaurant had many varied food items and preparations. The clam chowder is the best I've had anywhere in the country and the fish is always fresh. The early bird special has a soup/salad, entree`, drink, dessert option. The entrees have changed over the years sadly, but the selections were still good and plentiful.

Thank you for such a nice review! One thing you never need to worry about is the chowder changing, we've used the same recipe for over 30 years. More

Fish flown in fresh and wonderful bread. My favorite is their Market Street salad. If you get a chance, try it, its my go to item for lunch. Clam chowder is excellent as well

I have eaten and reviewed other "chain" restaurants that have delivered excellent food with value. Market Street does not fall into this category. The food is acceptable, the service is always good to excellent, but nothing about this restaurant blows my skirt up. I have eat both at their downtown and Cottonwood locations and they are consistent in what they... More

We usually eat at the Cottonwood Market Street Grill. We go at least once a month. We like the early bird special which is yummy prime rib or a fish dish. It is unde r$20 and includes salad or soup and dessert. The food is always fresh and good. My husband takes his employees there for lunch.

Market Street Grill is consistently the best seafood in Salt Lake City. I traditionally stay away from seafood in landlocked states but the food here is always good and sometimes even great.
