We had dinner here on a Monday night when our original choice was booked out. We were surprised when we arrived at 6.50pm to find the restaurant quite busy however we were seated quickly and given menus. Water and bread followed shortly after. Whilst we felt some of the main course (entree ) items were not cheap ranging from $35... More

The wine and bread were very good. I had tiny shrimp with cocktail sauce, a salad, and a grilled ahi tuna, all OK, but not terrific; in all, the dinner seemed overpriced. The waitress was good and handled our large group (10 of us) without any problems.

This is the first time for me at the Market Street Grill restaurant in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. We are from out of town visiting friends and arrived as part of a group of eight adults including an elderly individual, a 92 year old woman. Another in the party suffers from food sensitivities. At nine o'clock in the morning... More

We have eaten here and at the Oyster Bar, next door, many times. Both are consistently very good. This is upscale dining, but can also be casual too. We have come for dinner, lunch, and breakfast and have never had a bad experience. We have also come for special occasions and after the symphony and the food and service are... More

Very attentive staff without being intrusive. Our waiter listened carefully and did not give us grief for special requests (Thanks, Kaleigh!). It fills up fast so call ahead for reservations. We ordered the crab stuffed halibut (always a favorite) and the beef medalions which were cooked a perfect medium rare. Must orders: Clam chowder. Every. Single. Time. Order the au... More

Going in for lunch, the temptations began with their display cases of seafood and desserts. Their seafood is delicious as is the clam chowder. We split appetizers - all were very good. When it comes to dessert, their portions are Texas-sized. three folks ate on the chocolate cake.

It was with trepediation that I invited two very fussy eaters out for dinner, but even my hard-to-please guests were raving about the food. We started with Manila clams as an appetizer. They were excellent and the broth so good that we were tempted in eat the remaining broth with a spoon, and certainly took advance to the accompanying garlic... More
