When there for my 3 year old birthday dinner, she wanted it sooo bad. Ordered and it was out in moments! Service was good and the free dessert was a bonus! Great place!!!

I have eaten a lot of barbecue in my day and this restaurant definitely is in the top five. I ordered to try emboli and was very impressed. The food and service were excellent I would not hesitate to return.

We were going to hit Pat's BBQ but it was closed for Memorial Day, so we headed to Sugarhouse. YUM! I had the BBQ salad with chopped pork (nice and fresh salad with tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuces and red onion, with a load of chopped pork, house-made Ranch dressing) and husband had a platter with chopped pork and shredded chicken (buffalo... We go here from time to time because my spouse loves BBQ (me not so much). He thinks the baby back ribs are good, and the option of different sauces is good. I love the sides, especially the cucumbers. Skip the jambalaya. It's below average, but what to be expected in a BBQ place. There are NO vegetarian options.

We always come here when we are here on business and have never had a bad meal. The smokehouse platter is awesome you get a little of everything Ask for your brisket "the WET end" if u like a more moist meat. But it's all good. Lighter side the BBQ salad is great too. Definitely worth the trip. .

Sugarhouse BBQ makes delicious pulled pork, buffalo chicken, and beef brisket. Their sides, especially the Greek potatoes are delicious as well. My husband and I like to split a platter with a few extras and our meal has never been over $30. We love this place!

First of all I made reservations for 8, through open table, we were seated right away. The food was great, my husband had the jambalaya I had the étouffée. Both were very good. One of our friends ordered a side of French fries which were not on the menu but totally should be. He put them in the middle of... More

I will always love Sugarhouse BBQ. I like the new digs (except the parking lot....never any space) and I like the new menu items like the french fries. This place is our good old stand-by. If we just don't know where to go for dinner or found that the place we wanted to go to was closed or too busy,... More

BBQ is one of my favorite foods, so as I travel I am always on the lookout for local - not chain - establishments. So today in Salt Lake City we stopped at Sugarhouse. We tried a bit of everything. Our favorite was the cherry wood smoked wings and the ribs a close second. The brisket was our least favorite... More

Loved this place during our quick stop in Salt Lake City. Meat was delicious and tender. Loved the sauces and our waiter was really friendly. Will come again!
