Just had lunch here today. I had the tacos. They were ok but I had a lot better. Four other had lunch with me and each one liked their meal. One had a salad, one had the Philly like sandwich and one had the turkey. The service was good and I liked the location. BTW If you park in the... More

This little gem of a restaurant is located on the east side of the valley fairly close to the Natural History Museum and Zoo. We stumbled upon it and totally enjoyed the variety and quality selection they offered. The grandkids loved the burgers, I loved the "southwest" salmon offering. Good food at a very fair price.

The food was and has always been great. The service though has been horrible and seems to keep getting worse. After multiple times and attempts to try and change my view of this place I cannot and will not be returning due to service.

Convenient distance from our motel. Good food. Good service. Fair prices. Clean and orderly. Friendly host/hostesses and competent and friendly server. The server was not a hoverer, but was aware of and took care of our needs professionally.

If you can start with dessert and work your way backwards that would be wonderful! Any dessert in the case is delicious. Their roasted brussel sprout appetizer is delicious. Bacon, goat cheese, mmmm! I order it as a full meal with a cup of soup. The french onion soup is one of the best around. Great salads, good service.

There are always good specials and long term favorites on the menu. Don't plan on visiting with your companions if you sit inside - it's one of the noisiest restaurants I've visited due to the ceiling height and construction. They do have a pleasant outside eating area in summer that's more amenable to conversation and the mist make it comfortable... More

There is always something new on the creative menu. Well complimented by a beer or two. In the neighborhood so a good stopping point on the way home.

The Red Butte Cafe is the restaurant of choice for people who frequent "Foothill Village," an upscale shopping center in an upscale section of Salt Lake City. Your first challenge is to make it to the front door of the restaurant without being run over in the parking lot by a female in an Escalade with an iPhone glued to... More

This is close to Research Park over in foothills village. Not much selection for us near Univ of Utah and Research Park area. Go Here and you will not be disappointed. Great food, quick service, usually have nice selection on Tap from their sister company Desert Edge Brewing, good salads, great daily specials.

I have lived in SLC for 28 years and Red Butte is one of my favorite eating spots. Everything on the menu is fresh and yummy. The pasta is homemade and absolutely delicious. My go-to meal is the open face steak sandwich with house pasta.
