Great Food, Loud Crowd

Pros: Good food, large portions, big selection, friendly and attentive service, immediate seating, no loud music, open late. Cons: multiple TV screens showing sports events, very loud crowd. We liked the fish tacos and the portabello burger. Young clientele.

The Porcupine Grille is very good. The food selection is amazing and the waiters are all very nice. The Soup of the day is always excellent and the food is scarcely under my high expectations for good food. The Grille is always busy and it has a cozy feel to it.

We have enjoyed Porcupine many times a year for many years and it not only doesn't get old, but has actually gotten even better. Favorites include the rock shrimp appetizer, house salad with house dressing (6 star), the big cottonwood burger and the wahoo fish tacos. You will be impressed! Though it is a pub, it is kid friendly and... More

By far one of my favorite places in the SLC area. This place is a must after a long day on the slopes. The nachos are to die for and the chocolate porcupine desert is amazing. You really cant go wrong with anything on the menu here. Love!

I have been going to this restaurant since they opened. The food is always very good. I went this week & the salad I always ordered wasn't quite up to what I expect. The Southwestern salad lacked any zest. 1 little piece of avocado, 4 chips & not very much corn or black beans. A little disappointing. Guess I will... More

My friend and I were looking for a place where we could get a drink and do some writing. He thought the Porcupine would be able to accommodate my power outlet needs and it's just an all-around neat place. The waitstaff were great and very coordinated -- they opened the door to the outdoor area with their feet while carrying... More

The staff is always friendly and keeps busy. The atmosphere is very fun and lots of seating. The location is right at the mouth of the Cottonwood Canyon. Limited... More

Eat here about once a month for lunch. Arrive before noon for decent service. Just after noon they get packed & service can be hit or miss. Chicken noodle soup is my fav. Mini pizza & salad is always a great lunch. Fish tacos or turkey sandwich are good staples. Nachos are good. They are huge so share! Others rave... More

The location that the Porcupine is set in is beautiful. The food was fabulous too. Being a Brit I had never had breaded beef in gravy for breakfast before however I wasn't disappointed. The portion was huge! The service was fast and we were seated quickly even though it was quite busy. The beers looked great although I decided not... More
