I learned about Oasis Cafe from an old NYT Travel article. I am glad I found it. My husband and I came in to Salt Lake on a very late flight so we spent the night downtown before heading up to Snowbird to ski for the weekend. The new ownership of Oasis Cafe has proved disastrous to its quality. While the setting is nice, the food is really mediocre, especially for the high prices they charge. There are so many wonderful dining options in Salt Lake City-don't waste your time here. more
casual space, but feels upscale. great space surrounded by large plants, fountains, and changing art on the walls. summertime patio is great for brunch. it's a nice place to share a coffee press or go for a fresh creative salads (mediterranean potato- yum). adjoins a metaphysical book store - it's nice to take time for both. more
