Beer and Cajun Comfort Food

Beer and Wine for almost any taste and preference. The food is great, Cajun Comfort Food. Casual atmosphere, great place to take friends for a long lunch or casual dinner. Not much parking, be prepared to park along the road and walk a block or two.

Their cuisine is very authentic which was surprising to me since it is far from Cajun Country. The local brews are many....they menu is wide and varied...and the bread pudding is great! Stop in for a dining treat!

This was truly a gem to be found. Not much to look at on the outside, but once you enter it is a whole other story. Staff was great (other than the young hostess at the front). Drinks were great (spicy bloody Mary's!) and our food was just awesome. Breading on fried food is SUPER light and delicious! Blackened catfish... More

Went here after seeing a band across the street.Too many beers to choose from but that's a good thing, right? This was about 10 at nite but the place was pretty busy .Never the less we were seated fairly quickly and service was prompt. The food was excellent .Would definitely come here again. This place blows Squatters and Red Rock away, two places... More

When you can relay on good food and a great beer selection, this is a natural selection to introduce a visitor to SLC. Attentive staff and reasonably priced food makes this a "Must go to" place for those who love Cajun.

This place is always busy. Its a great place for friends to sit and enjoy some really good food and a drink. I really enjoy their selection and have been able to try a lot of unique drinks I had considered before. It's one of the few places I've repeated referred friends too.

This is a local bar/restaurant with an excellent beer selection and good food. It is 21+ because of the alcohol service, but friendly and comfortable. Food was pretty good- I had the Cajun burrito which is smothered in crawfish étouffée. Huge - more than I could eat. This isn't an elegant restaurant, but is a good bar with good food,... More

My boyfriend had drinks and lunch here. The beer selection is huge and the wine and mixed drink selection is also great. Everyone is very nice and service was excellent! The food was very good and the menu was awesome especially if you like a New Orleans feel. From the outside the restaurant/bar looks very non descript and somewhat deceiving... More

I'll begin by saying the food was excellent! But the drinks, aside from beer, were a different story.. A woman at our table ordered a lemon drop martini, which came out as simple syrup, lemon flavor, no vodka and only half full. We sent it back for a dirty gin martini, which ended up being all olive juice, no gin... More

We were skiing in Park City, Utah and had to drive into SLC to dropoff our equipment. We met a friend who lives in greater SLC and met at Bayou for dinner. It was great! We had gumbo, jambalaya and Hoppin John and seom beverages. Everything (including the service) was awesome and reminded us of eating in New Orleans!
