By far not the best Indian food I've had but it was good. The biggest negative was on this night, service was slow and the waiter could have been more informative about the cuisine. The atmosphere was comfortable and pleasant. Lastly the directions to the restaurant are wrong, they have moved to 400S and State Street. more
The soup with vegitables was wonderful. I also had lamb korma, rice and garlic nan. Lamb was a bit tough, but flavors of sauce were to die for. I would go back. more
My husband and I found Star of India and decided to give it a try. We were both kind of skeptical because we'd never had Indian food before but when we finally got our appetizer, Chicken Tikka Masala, and delicious nan to share we were SO happy we stopped in to try it. This is one of the best Indian restaurants we have eaten at, anywhere. We had 5 different dishes there and all were excellent. Don't miss the garlic nan. Free parking in the back. more
