Food was average. You ordered cafeteria style. The interesting reason for going is the historical home and architecture. It was originally the home of a famous Morman leader. Get your camera.

Low cost cafeteria with limited healthy choices. Friendly, helpful staff considering the factory line approach. High turnover challenges cleanliness of the place.

Great location right next to the square and beautiful flower gardens. Walked up to front if the building and it looked so historical. Food was tasty ordered salmon and rice really good and the rolls with butter were amazing! Will come back next time😀

We invited two young missionaries who had been touring us around Temple Square to accompany us to the Lion House. We'd take the free shuttle from the KOA RV park and one of those Mormon folks told us about how she liked eating at the Lion House. The food was served buffet with a set menu of various entrees served... More

Food is served cafeteria style. The setting is old colonial. The restaurant is in Brigham Young's home. Check the website for the menu of the day. It is limited to 4 or 5 items a day. The folks are real friendly. The food was very good.

We were a large group and went here twice during our visit. The house is made up of separate dining rooms, all decorated in the period decor. We were served the entree of the day. The first day, we had salad, delicious rolls, chicken pot pie, and a German chocolate mouse cake. Portions were huge. Some of my friends thought... More

Great value for the food that you received. The buns are delicious! The location was great as I finished touring Temple Square and it was right there! The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. Make sure you take some buns home or for the plane ride home!

We stopped here as part of a city tour. What a treat it was. This was the best meal we had on our week's trip to Utah. It's cafeteria style so you get what you want immediately. We had the pork pot pie in a layered flaky bread basket. Wow, it was so good. Fresh, good portion too. This would... More

We did have a bit of trouble trying to find parking but once we found the restaurant we were good. Park as if you are going to the Joseph Smith Building and ask for directions. Walk in the door and the heavenly scent of baking rolls hooks you immediately. The choices are limited but it appears they are different depending... More
