Their rolls are amazing! I had the broccoli and cheese soup in a bread bowl because it was so cold outside. The soup was pretty good. Finding parking can be difficult, although we parked at the mall across the street. Overall, very good food and atmosphere.

It feels sort of cramped inside but that should not stop you from eating here. It is, after all, in what used to be an old house from the 1850s. Food is served cafeteria style but its delicious. Not the sort of food you would expect to get on a tray as you move down the line. Totally worth it.

We had our wedding lunch here 30 years ago and have been back over and over. YUM. I love the cafeteria downstairs. There is something for everyone.

We stopped by the Lion House while walking around Temple Square and weren't disappointed. The food is served cafeteria style, but is all home cooked and very high quality. We all got the beef pot roast and were not disappointed with the flavor or the portion size. In addition their rolls and honey butter are melt in your mouth good!... More

Everything they had looked so great it made my wife want to come back over and over again to try it all. We got the corn chowder, which came with their house rolls (which are amazing) and a couple of slices of pie, and that was enough to fill us. It was delicious.

The food was great in the downstairs cafe. The upstairs banquet room was where we had our wedding. It was a great experience. My husband and I eat here every time we are in the city.

Great food, but fixed menu each day. Good so the food is fresh, but if you don't like the options you are out of luck. It's cafeteria style so it's nice with kids. Rolls and butter are amazing. Plus you get to add some history into your meal.

A busy place, but when you taste the food you will understand why. The price is right, but if it's a busy time you may have to wait.
