Visiting the temple square we did go to Lion House for a lunch and it was excellent! Properly cooked meal was such a delight after all this fast food galore! Rolls were jummy also the sparkling black cherry drink! If you miss your home food and are from Europe - go :)

Cafeteria style food that honestly didn't look that appetizing, but my family of five got the beef and vegetables (delicious), mushroom soup in sourdough bread bowl (so good, bread was heavenly) and kiddos got chicken tenders kids meal. We each got a famous homemade roll and a dessert. Chocolate cake was out favorite. Everyone loved their food, rated it a... More

Four of us piled into the Lion House, in the pantry of Brigham Young's original Salt Lake City home, for a cafeteria style meal. My wife had the salmon, very tasty, I had the Pork Pot Pie, also very tasty. Both meals served with fresh broccoli. The rolls are to die for. This restaurant is very centrally located to a... More

Brought my four and five year old here and we all loved it. Serving is cafeteria style, but nothing else suggests "cafeteria." Delicious comfort food all around, none of us left disappointed. Pricing is pretty fair as well. Short walk across the street fromCity Creek Mall.

But hey, eating in Brigham Young's kitchen is kind of novel and cool. The recipes are consistent with that of pioneer food and they're pretty good. There's a bakery too. Yum!

Not much of a choice and nothing tempted me, except the cheesecake. The salad was dull..not even any onions. The Thousand Island dressing was a bit too tart. We were taken here as part of a tour. I would have preferred the Red Iguana, but I understand some people have medical problems and can't just eat anything. This would never... More

Stopped here while visiting Temple Square. The food was served cafeteria style and it along with the dessert was good. The prices are reasonable for the area. If you're in the area it's definitely worth a visit.

Comfort food, served cafeteria style with a clean, friendly atmosphere. Menu options change daily but the rolls are excellent and a staple here. I highly recommend the cola pork and the chocolate cake - 2 of my favorites.

This is cafeteria style, but the food & desserts are very good. Stopped the first time with City Tours. Excellent lunch. Went back the next day again. Both times I had the chicken & certainly was not like any chicken I make at home and definitely not bland. My husband had the clam chowder which was very good . Had... More
