Salmon and rice and skipped dessert after a few days of indulging in cafe and dining room in the JSM Building. Found a small quite table in room covered with stone walls. Charming...not your usual cafeteria experience. Low price, lovely and pleasant servers/staff.

If I told you we were having lunch at the historic Lion House on Temple Square, you might imagine a fancy and expensive sit-down restaurant in a well-preserved "heritage" building. The building is indeed a historic landmark, but the basement is now a cafeteria with great food and reasonable prices. The dinner rolls included with most meals are fresh from... More

Nice old style concept with getting your food in line and picking your table on one of several home feel dining rooms. Huge salads and great big salads

The only thing I would recommend to the management is to post a sign directing the customers to the cafeteria line. We walked in and stood by the bakery case for several minutes until the chef noticed us standing there. He directed us to the serving line. We weren't the only ones who did this as I noticed another couple... More

We had a very nice meal for about $22 for the two of us. The staff were lovely and the atmosphere was pleasant. Worth a visit!

You can get a nice cafeteria meal here for about ten bucks. This place is right next to the historic Bee House and is basically in the cellar of the historic Lion House. It gets quite busy around Noon. I had the Corned Beef with mashed potatoes. Be sure, by the way, to take the roll that comes with it.... More

Great historical site with even better food. They made the funky set up work for them with the cafeteria style dining.

This place is really good!! We came here as a family for my husband's graduation and we all had a great time and the food was really good. I had the soup bowl and I can't remember what soup was there I think it was a beef stew and it was okay but not the best, but everything else that... More

I ventured to try this cafeteria style restaurant based on TA reviews. I must have hit them on an off evening, as my experience was far from what many are writing here. This truly is cafeteria style. The entrees for the day are found at the marquee at the beginning of the line. I selected the pulled pork (other options... More

Set in the historic home of Brigham Young, it has marvelous food. Entrance is on the side of the building off a small walkway, so watch for it. A great place to stop for lunch when shopping in downtown.
