A must when in Salt Lake

Whenever we visit Salt Lake we always stop and eat at the Market Street Grill. When it is full you can go next door to the Oyster Bar, they have the same menu and kitchen. We try to get there before 7pm for the Early Bird Special. The seafood is always fresh and the servers are exceptional.

We intended to eat next door at the Market Street Grill, which was recommended by the hotel, but they close at 9:00 on weeknights, so we went to the Oyster Bar next door. I'm not a big seafood fan, but my business associates said it was good. I had a filet which was a bit overdone, but not totally surprising... More

I like this place a lot. It's casual (flat screen TVs over the bar) yet nice and is a good place to catch a game or for happy hour too. The beers are cold and the food is really fresh and nicely prepared. The fresh oysters on the half shell are served with fresh lemon and little containers of sauce... More

The Oyster Bar is an upscale place to enjoy drinks with friends. Their appetizers are tasty, and the drink selection is good. It's not an inexpensive place, so be prepared to drop coin. Service has always been good, and the food well prepared on the occasions I've visited.

We visited the Oyster Bar for dinner with another couple, and were rewarded with a superb dining experience. Atmosphere, service and taste were exemplary, and we highly recommend this restaurant. The sourdough bread and chowder were excellent, and each entree was different and delicious. My wife enjoyed the grouper special and I the halibut with avocado. Our friends had the... More

For us this place has become our regular over the last few years; Wonderful atmosphere, food , and excellent wine selections. The staff is always friendly and very professional ; they make you feel like they are glad you're here. The place is always on the busy side…( a great place is never empty) definitely a ' go to place'

Great restaurant with a fun ambiance. I really love the fact that the entrees come with a soup or salad and vegetables. It seems so many fine restaurants menu's have gone to a la carte. The halibut oscar is outstanding, have had this several times. I'm not an oyster gal, but others in our party who order theirs say they're... More

Stick with the basic benedict or your price doubles! The food was good, but nothing outstanding. We had good service and the restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and some lovely outdoor seating. The wine cellar downstairs was very interesting!

Great Food, Great Service. The clam chowder is the best! My husband and I like to sit in the Oyster Bar. Lots of commotion but great people watching.

Thank you for taking a few minutes to leave such a nice review! You really can't beat the Clam Chowder, I love it! I will agree with you, the people watching can definitively be entertaining at the Oyster Bar, especially on the weekends. Hope to see you again soon! More
