This is an old favourite of ours from 7 or 8 years back. We visited SLC last week and could not miss one of THE finest breakfasts on the planet. I won't drone on about this and that - everything on the menu is outstanding, and for the extremely hungry only. The specials require extreme strength of will to resist.... More

Looking at the building you wouldn't expect much but upon entering you're greeted with fast friendly service. Many menu options from Turkey dinner to burgers to breakfast (served all day). I think my food was about $8. Our waiter was terrific. All in our party were thrilled with the food except my mother's mashed potatoes weren't warm. They quickly remedied... More

We were visiting someone in Sugarhouse and went twice here for breakfast. The staff is friendly. The place is cute. And the food is pretty good. The first day, the salmon benedict was amazing. The second day, the salmon was very dry and disappointing. The french toast was good …. but odd that it came with potatoes. The chicken fried... More

Went here because it was a Triple D (Diners, Drive in and Dives) recommendation and it didn't disappoint! Had the smoked salmon eggs Benedict on the advice of my waiter and it was melt in your mouth awesome! Loved the jukebox playing oldies. Go. Eat. You will love it!

Breakfast all day! Great burritos and omelettes though the homefries were frozen type, not homemade. Kind of loud but its a local/college hangout...

I'd heard a lot about Blue Plate but wasn't overly impressed. It's a diner. They serve diner food. Nothing special. Prices are a little high for diner food.

This review is just a little delayed, but my boyfriend and I ate here on our trip to look at apartments in Salt Lake City. We had been up since four that morning and searched on Google maps for the closest place to eat. We were pleased when we arrived to find that Blue Plate had won awards locally and... More

I love waffle fries. Blue Plate has wonderful waffle fries. Let me just say now: always go spicy, never regular.

Over the last 10 months, I have had two co-workers take me here as a treat! Very good, rather kitchy place. Sat outside this time (little cool breeze!) but enjoyed the visit. Rueben sandwich very good - always have to compare to my wife's. She still has the winner - not just becasue I vote to (want to) sleep with... More
