Dinner

Oysters were wonderful. They have about 4to5 kinds of oysters from different regions...I thought they were over priced. Nice menu, but bring your wallet $$$$ ....Food was decent

We had fantastic service and they have a fun environment/feel to the bar however it is fairly pricey so we just got some happy hour appetizers and a few drinks. The oysters were tasty, the shrimp cocktail was just weird - I have never seen a cocktail with baby shrimp. The calamari was average, and the spinach artichoke dip was... More

Our food was good, but since I was visiting from a location very close to the ocean and tons of seafood restaurants, I am going to be biased.

So we went in for dinner and over the years I've been a frequent diner here. The fish is always fresh that is great. The server Adam was terrible unattentive and completely lost or stoned. He left our table in the middle of taking our order and disappeared into the back. He was gone so long we asked to talk... More

Stopped in for a 1600 social. Oysters + iced peel & eat shrimp were excellent. Service from the tall female blonde haired bartender (wish I could remember her name) was awesome. Had (1) draft + (1) Moscow Mule - both incredible. I have read the other reviews - Recommend eating @ the bar. My experience was awesome!

Several things wrong with this dinner. First, I was traveling from out of town. I called and made a reservation for Saturday night at 7:30PM for a party of two. When we arrived they did not have our reservation. We ended up sitting in the bar area. Second, our waiter was very awkward. He was nice, but uncomfortable. Third, I... More

This is one of the few (and I mean few) places in Utah to enjoy fresh seafood. It's always presented well, cooked to taste, and with accompaniments that are very nice, the bonus being chowder that's always excellent. Oyster bar and its companion seafood restaurant Market Street Grill are an unbeatable pair in SLC, so don't miss them when in... More

We eat here instead of the Market Street Grill, which is next door and has the same menu, because we like the atmosphere. The Oyster Bar has fun decor and great food. Our family of four had a little bit of everything - soup, bread, fried shrimp, battered fish and grilled fish. All was served hot and perfectly cooked. This... More

Finding a restaurant in SLC that is open after 10pm is no easy feat. I made a reservation for 3 on a Friday evening and was very happy with the choice. We arrived around 9:45 and were seated immediately. The waitress was very accommodating and friendly. We were among the last customers, but never felt rushed. The seafood offerings were... More

Dined at the bar with a colleague and spread out experience out over about 2.5 hours. Started with cocktails which were well done with top shelf bourbon. Had a sample of 4 oysters that were available that night as well as half pound of shrimp cocktail. Locally made sourdough bread was fantastic as was the clam chowder and seared ahi... More
