My husband surprised me with dinner at Log Haven for my birthday. It was so romantic, the location up the canyon is gorgeous and we loved the low lighting and candlelight. Excellent meal! Excellent wine list! We had a great server. Couldn't have asked for a better, more memorable dinner. Fairly expensive, but you get what you pay for! Highly... More

Last night I had the opportunity if taking a party of 13 to the Log Haven. In the party we had people from Chicago, Dallas, Indianapolis and Atlanta. They were blown away with the quality of the food and the ambience of the restaurant. It was a beautiful night so we sat out on the patio near the waterfall. It... More

Cozy rustic like restaurant out side of Salt Lake City. Food was awesome to say the least from salad to desert. Service was impeccable and setting equally splendid. Portions are large. Perfect setting for a first date or special occasion.

* I made a reservation with plenty of time in advance, and my table still was not ready upon arrival. In reading other reviews, I found that the service had been good. Maybe we went on an off-night * The host was not the warmest; I had to walk around to the kitchen to find him, and then he disappeared... More

For many years, Log Haven has been my go-to upscale restaurant for special occasions. Located a few miles up Millcreek Canyon, and directly across from an active waterfall, the restaurant is only a few minutes outside of the city. The building is classy rustic, with finished wood walls and floors and tree-like chairs that echo the surrounding forest. There is... More

Always one of my favorite dining experiences - superb food, excellent service, and an incredible setting nestled in the mountains. Such a romantic spot, a friend of mine decided to get married there! If you're visiting Salt Lake City, make a trip up into the Wasatch Mountains to enjoy a spectacular experience!

I have been patronizing Log Haven for many years. It is a fantastic destination for an upscale party or date, and I have attended weddings there as well. The service is top notch, and the manager runs the floor very well. I have noticed the food quality is going downhill. I ordered a "Certified Angus" Ribeye steak last night, and... More

What a gem nestled on the side of the mountain! The food was stellar, served to us on the terrace by the waterfall as we listened to our favorite tunes from the piano.

Please take the time on your next trip to SLC to have a meal at the Log Haven Restaurant. The setting is spectacular (in the Wasatch National Park), amidst towering trees, abundant wildlife, natural waterfalls and crisp, clean air. The food was very good, the total experience was near perfect. The menu was dialed-in for the environment, with Bison, fresh... More
