The ambiance was amazing. The staff was so much fun with so much personality. Stephan and Clayton gave superb guidance with the menu. The scallops were so yummy along with the Nachos. It's a must while you're here.

Thanks to TA we found this really cute restaurant just inside the Wasatch National Park. The drive in (in the dark) is quite interesting but it is so well worth it! As you drive up you see all the beautiful homes in the area and as you arrive you cant help but be taken with the amazing waterfall and lit... More

Log Haven is located in the foothills of the Wasatch Range and in a national forest -- it is a magical setting. The night we went, it was cold and snowy, but it made the log cabin-style building even more enchanting, enhanced by a crackling fire. The reception and service were excellent. The appetizers were so-so; the main courses were... More

We have dined at Log Haven in the mountains near Salt Lake City every Christmas/New Year holiday for about four years. Our dinner there last night was maybe the best. The setting is absolutely lovely; like a large log cabin with a winding path leading up to the restaurant. There are several fire places and we were seated in what... More

This restaurant is in the Top 10 in SLC for good reason. Outstanding service and recommendations from our server, Hartley. Alpine nachos with truffle oil were so delectable we were tempted to order another platter except we couldn't wait to see what came next. The Scallops with mushroom risotto, and the Bison steak with Brussels sprouts were perfect. Finished with... More

My wife and I visited the Log Haven for a milestone anniversary I was told that this was the place to go for a romantic setting. The setting was nice and the service was great our reservation was for a table with the waterfall view, the tables for 2 were set so that only one person could see the waterfall... More

Food simply outstanding, every aspect of our 4 meals. Appetizers to bread to entrees to wine menu to deserts (big mistake to fail to save room, even if 'just' homemade sorbets!). Restaurant is 90yr old, large log cabin with fireplace and leather chairs to gather group around before meal, so atmosphere is excellent. Drive is about 25-30min from valley, up... More

We found this place via Trip Advisor and Open Table reviews. It was great—especially for us not knowing the area and getting to be immersed our first day out west in the mountains. The location is beautiful and it was about a 25 minute easy drive from our hotel in downtown SLC. The food was first string the staff very... More

This experience is amazing from the second you drive up the canyon to get to it. Well worth a walk around before you even go inside and check out the waterfall across the street! The piano man, Mr. Egan, was a wonderful addition and played requests easily. The waitress was professional, helpful and friendly and recommended some items to try.... More

We arrived to dinner a few minutes early and were told by the (not-so-friendly greeter) to go wait by the fire. The couple next to us had cocktails; we were not asked, nor acknowledged while waiting if we wanted something to drink while we waited. We were seated for dinner at a table behind a pillar; initially we were a... More
