Excellent Restaurant and Atmosphere

An excellent restaurant in a very cool setting. An old log cabin home redone into a restaurant in a very picturesque setting. Food was unique, e.g,. elk, bison, arctic char, etc. and outstanding. Took a group of 12 here during the Outdoor Retailer show and had a night to remember. From the gorgeous drive up on snowy roads to the dripping icicles on the entry, everything was amazing. The waiter was very knowledgable and did a great job managing a rowdy group and keeping us focused. The rest of the staff was incredibly... More

This is one of most reliable and great restaurant in the area. The food is always outstanding along with outstanding service. The wine list is excellent. No matter what you order, it's going to be fantastic. We go back again and again and are always very very happy. And, the restaurant and setting is absolutely beautiful. Enjoy!

The food was delicious and the waiter was great. He was super friendly and very knowledgable. In addition, there was a great view of a waterfall in the woods with snow covered trees outside the window and this great log cabin decor with a warm cozy fireplace inside. It is very expensive though.

I must say this is a very cozy fun place to visit once. There is an incredible waterfall across the street. Service was good and food ok. Worth the trip for the view but not the food.

For New Years, my husband and I always plan a special evening. We fired up the Rolls and headed up Mill Creek Canyon to the Log Haven. The setting and building is quite beautiful in the winter. I would recommend that anyone planning this trip in the winter, check the road conditions and weather before you head up the canyon.... More

Have been to log haven many times for family, romantic and business dinners. Location up Millcreek canyon makes for a lovely drive for out of towners. Valet parking. Food is great, a bit pricy for what you get but if high and consistent quality. Choices normally include local sources dishes like trout, bison or some other game. Have a nice... More

I visited Log Haven for a wedding reception. It is charming and fun. Would not be my top choice for a wedding due to size, layout and parking.

Had dinner here with friends on New Years Eve, spectacular setting. Food was incredible, we tried the steaks, elk, scallops, crab cakes and don't miss the Alpine Nachos! This place is a tradition!!

Went for a company Christmas event. The menu was interesting. I had bison but several ordered elk. It was delivered to the table and looked almost raw. Two plates went back to be cooked more. One guest ordered an oyster appetizer (the waiter described as "fresh"). That customer was down for the count after dinner. The wine list is awesome... More
