Food simply outstanding, every aspect of our 4 meals. Appetizers to bread to entrees to wine menu to deserts (big mistake to fail to save room, even if 'just' homemade sorbets!). Restaurant is 90yr old, large log cabin with fireplace and leather chairs to gather group around before meal, so atmosphere is excellent. Drive is about 25-30min from valley, up... More

We found this place via Trip Advisor and Open Table reviews. It was great—especially for us not knowing the area and getting to be immersed our first day out west in the mountains. The location is beautiful and it was about a 25 minute easy drive from our hotel in downtown SLC. The food was first string the staff very... More

This experience is amazing from the second you drive up the canyon to get to it. Well worth a walk around before you even go inside and check out the waterfall across the street! The piano man, Mr. Egan, was a wonderful addition and played requests easily. The waitress was professional, helpful and friendly and recommended some items to try.... More

We arrived to dinner a few minutes early and were told by the (not-so-friendly greeter) to go wait by the fire. The couple next to us had cocktails; we were not asked, nor acknowledged while waiting if we wanted something to drink while we waited. We were seated for dinner at a table behind a pillar; initially we were a... More

This is one of our favorite places to eat, not just in Utah but through the country. So romantic, great views! The food is awesome, the Chef does a great job of paying attention to the smallest details that elevates your experience to the next level.

This was not a special occasion or anything i just wanted to do something to surprise my wife on a monday night so i made reservations. Great atmosphere and food. This is probably the second most expensive restaurant that me and my wife had been to and I work hard for my money so I was hoping to getting high... More

When a friend found out I was making a trip to Utah to visit my sister and brother-in-law, she recommended we go to Log Haven for dinner if we had a chance. We decided to go for dinner on my last night in town and the experience was absolutely delightful. Our waitress, Elise, was friendly and pleasant. When she found... More

My husband and I had reservations for 8:00 pm for dinner. We arrived early so we drove past the restaurant to see what was further up the canyon. Lots of hiking trails with dirt or wooden paths. All the trees were changing colors and it was close to the sun setting so we took the opportunity to capture pictures of... More

Log Haven is in a lovely setting in Millcreek Canyon. The restaurant is a log structure built between 1920 and 1922. Upon entering, the hostess greeted us in a friendly manner and had us sit in comfortable stuffed chairs between the fireplace and the pianist. Just heavenly! We were seated at a table in the corner with views from all... More

This is a special place. Beautiful location, excellent service, limited but high quality menu. extensive wine list. One star off for an overcooked filet but it was still delicious. They offered to bring me a new one, to their credit, but I declined. We will be returning and I expect to add a fifth star.
