Not delivered the table we reserved three months out-with bi-weekly checks on the reservation. Beyond lackluster food with so-so service. The wine list is void of many if their offerings. It's a shame, as this is our local resteraunt-literally. The best thing about this place is biking past it knowing you are burning calories for a good meal down below... More

This place is a very upscale but beautiful log-cabin-style restaurant up Millcreek Canyon. The service, food and settings are all very upscale and the food and experience are well worth the expense. This is not a restaurant you want to take your little kids to.

The evening starts with a warm greeting at the door, followed by superior food and wine list with outstanding service in an enchantingly beautiful setting. In the winter the fire place roars with a terrific live piano player to compliment this fantastic place. In the summer the beauty of the woods is unforgettable. The two of us have been going... More

My husband booked a dinner for two here in December (our 30th wedding anniversary) and it was a perfect night. The ambiance of this place is friendly, warm, elegant (a nice pair of jeans are fine though). We waited a few minutes for our table seated in comfortable chairs by the fire. We were offered a wine menu, and we... More

This restaurant is located in the middle of the forest just a short 20 minutes from downtown. We stayed at Grand America Hotel downtown and wanted our last night to be special. Well, finding Log Haven exceeded our dreams. The food is creative and full of interesting combinations at reasonable prices for such a wonderful setting. Icicles and snow ..... More

My husband and I just came from Log Haven feeling so let down by our experience. We booked a reservation a month ago excited by the promise of ambiance and live musice with a pianist in house. As we waited on our table, we were not disappointed in the beautiful setting as we sat by the warm fire and listened... More

We came here for our first night visiting SLC and we couldn't have picked a better restaurant to start our vacation. The setting is so perfect for that snowy, get warm by the fire with a glass of wine kind of night. The food was spectacular, and our waiter Ian was wonderful - professional, friendly, helpful with out trying to... More

Our server Hartley loves food and infused our dining experience with his wry wit and well-informed recommendations. We followed his lead on the back-by-popular demand Alpine nachos then tries to mimic them at home. Chef Dave Jones nod to comfort food reaches new heights at this altitude. No missed notes in this fireside dinner which accommodated five foodies and one... More

With the help of other Trip Advisor’s reviews and our GPS, we found Log Haven and met our friends for dinner. Log Haven is a beautiful little restaurant in a GORGEOUS woodsy setting in the hills above Salt Lake City. There’s a delightful short walk uphill to the front door, if you don’t use Valet parking. There’s also a waterfall... More

We had dinner here on New Year's Eve. The service was great and everyone enjoyed the food. The menu includes a variety of well prepared local items. The bison was cooked to perfection at mid rare and was delicious and tender. The beef short rib was very tender and flavorful. Both of these entree's were a hit at our table.... More
