I ate at Spencer's with a bit of trepidation based upon other reviews posted here, but here's a rundown: 1) Service: A+ We were seated immediately, and greeted graciously by a knowledgeable, engaging waitress. She knew her stuff, and checked with us just often enough. Impeccable timing, and sixth sense with respect to our needs. Didn't miss a beat. 2)... more

I looked at a couple of "best of" websites for restaurants in SLC and Spencers was on the top of the list. For the money, I would not go back. My steak was one of the better one I have had, but the service was very average. We thought that for the money we would get more than one serving... more

Took a client there for dinner. His steak was cold, he had to send his baked potato back twice (they were black inside). Service was very slow. My client always comments when he come to town that he doesn't want to go to the place with the crummy potato's. more

Had dinner here on a business trip, was staying at the Hilton. The atmosphere was dark, a bit smoky, and pretty loud because it was quite crowded (and this was on a Tuesday night). The food was very good, although I'm not sure I would have wanted to shell out this much money if I weren't on an expense account.... more
