Unusually good for a hotel restaurant! Steaks were great - sides fresh and tasty. Other options on the menu available for non-meat eaters. The chocolate ice cream made on the premises is a must!

Have eaten here a few times and it is always consistent. High end prices and the food is a little under par. Large servings but lacks a little bit of imagination in the presentation. However you do not leave hungry and the service is excellent and the food tasty. If you want steak you can't go wrong, if you want... More

Dark, good menu selection, a little pricey, but in line with the quality. Service is very attentive. They will validate for parking beneath the hotel- make sure you ask. Good dining.

After wandering around SLC for a good portion of the day my friend and I decided to go to Spencer's since it was in the hotel and our feet were really sore. It was quite late in the evening so we just wanted something small and a glass or two of wine. We got the 3 appies for 21 dollar... More

I ate here whilst staying in the Hilton. The atmosphere was great and lively but not overly noisy. Staff were efficient but not overbearing. Portions were massive but very tasty and my lamb chops were superb. Loved them. It was a bit pricey for what we had but otherwise good and recommended.

I ate here two nights in a row, so I'll boil it down simply: 1. Steaks were good quality and were served quickly, comparable to Ruth Chris 2. Sides were good with one exception: the king crab mac & cheese sounded divine, but the reality was that it was full of crab shell, which happens to be a pet peeve... More

I stayed at the Hilton and though I'd have a late snack and beer. A group of conventioneers took up all of the two person staff's time and a 15 minute wait to order was followed by a 10 minute wait for delivery. I ordered a side of "loaded hash browns" that arrived in a hot pan dripping with grease.... More

The service wasn't too good. Our crabcakes weren't anything to write home about. The fried calamari mediocre, The Mashed potatoes were watery and tasteless. The mushrooms were just alright. The Asparagus were just alright. The steak was tasty but cooked a little too much. We spent a lot of money and I don't feel we got our monies worth. There... More

My family went to this restaurant after travelling for more than 24 hours from Australia, and needed a good meal. We were starving and very tired, but the service was excellent when we explained that we needed to eat soon! The waiter was very attentive, and we ordered some steaks. Unfortunately, that was where the great experience ended. The steaks... More

The host greeted us and stated that Spencer's had the best steaks in Utah. The 20 ounce ribeye was really good and cooked to order. Spencer's is a good alternative to other higher-end steakhouses.
