We've had some great meals at the Kimpton restaurants before. This wasn't one of them. A late breakfast with delayed staging and mediocre pastries simply fills the belly without feeding the soul.

I never would have guessed such great food would be hidden inside a hotel! The blue cheese chips were fantastic. My entree was the steak frites and exceeded my expectations. Tasty and tender! Great presentation. The wait staff was delightful.

Just a wonderful breakfast, expertly prepared. Perfectly cooked eggs, flavorful bacon, flaky delightful pastries and delicious coffee. What more could you want?

Salt Lake City does not have a large selection of really fine dinning. I was in town with my wife for a Holiday getaway and Bambara was highly recommended by this site. The restaurant is cozy and the help is very attentive. The food was also very good, especially considering the price which I thought was very reasonable. I ordered... More

This restaurant is in the Hotel Monaco and we didn't feel like going out so we decided to try it and we are so very glad that we did. The dishes were excellent. One of us had the salmon and the other had the halibut that was a chef's special and both tasted just perfect. The food was complimented by... More

Great ambience. Downtown in the Hotel Monaco. Food was rich and large portions. Not a place to eat light so be prepared.

This is an expensive restaurant so the less than superior steak my husband had was what lowered my rating from excellent to very good. My grilled scallops were superb. This is the best food I've ever had in SLC, a place I've found to be food challenged. The service is extraordinary and the building is beautiful, in a restored bank... More

We ate at Bambara after the Ballet, we made reservations when we thought it would be over and on our way to the Ballet from the Hotel the host came out and told us he moved the reservation a half hour because he had called for us to see when the Ballet was over. The food was incredible, a little... More

Took my parents here for a birthday dinner while visiting Salt Lake. I had been years ago and loved the atmosphere and the food. They have only improved - from the special event menu with my parents names at the top to the great wine list that included my favorite, Cloudy Bay, to the great food - we had a... More

My wife and I decided to have a weekend getaway in Park City over Easter. To start out our day we got reservations for Easter brunch at Bambara. Now I really like Bambara; it's the Hotel Monaco's in house restaurant adn the building is very very beautiful. Now that being said, Easter brunch ANYWHERE you go is going to be... More
