Loved the brunch!

Great service, fun atmoshpere, great street views of the Salt Lake Marathoners as they finished. Very customizing with my tea and delicious salmon.

My husband and I had an early dinner at Bambara on a Saturday night in May 2015. We originally picked this restaurant based on TripAdvisor reviews and proximity to our hotel in downtown Salt Lake City. We made a reservation at 5:45pm to allow us enough time to make it to a 7:30pm Ballet West performance afterwards. When we checked... More

Special Occasion Food: 10/10 Staff: 9/10 Atmosphere: 10/10 Location: 9/10 Recommendation: Use this spot for a special occasion to have a special night. The food is top notch. Some of the best food in all of Utah. The staff makes great recommendations and is professional. The atmosphere is modern and elegant. The location is right downtown and near hotels.

This is my favorite restaurant in Salt Lake City. Great seasonal menus--never disappoints. Great wine selection (for Salt Lake City). Highly recommended.

I knew I was going to a high end restaurant and expected more. Brought a business guest and she cleared her plate but my food wasn't excellent. I did like the salad I ordered. The main course, special of the day, a fish from Hawaii was heavy handed with oil at the bottom of the dish. Not the most comfortable... More

I've eaten here on two different occasions. I really like the food, but the prices (on some items) are maybe a bit too high. to be fair, I probably would have rated it a 4 if we had not also gone to the hotel bar - - the Vault - - for a drink. basically, the glasses of wine that... More

I enjoyed breakfast and dinner at this attractive restaurant. Menu selections offered eclectic choices for dinner, and the breakfast menu included both staples and interesting options. I ordered the scallops, risotto and Brussels sprouts for dinner and thought all were wonderful. Breakfast was an omelet that was a bit skimpy given the price, and a small bagel - somewhat disappointing.

I love Bambara. Every time I eat there I try something different and I am always impressed. I had the Venison with Huckleberry compote and my wife had the Mahi Mahi. Both were incredibly tasty. The cheese board was yummy, the winter salad was delicious and the ice cream sandwich is one of the best desserts you will ever eat.

We ordered an appetizer and asked for no added salt. It was too salty to eat. When asked how we like it, we said we couldn't eat it because of the salt. The waiter re-instructed the kitchen with regard to our main courses which were perfect. We appreciated his extra effort and really enjoyed our food. The ambience, noise level,... More

Really excellent menu. Remarkable seafood considering location. Located inside Hotel Monaco. Hotel itself is also great, wished I'd stayed there.
