Food is average prices are very exceptional. 40 dollars for Steak and Fries. Chicken was dry and not all that inventive. There are better SLC dining options for sure.

The trip started with short notice, opportunity to attend a jazz concert in SLC found a Hotel, Booked a Room, (Kimpton/Monaco) at front desk enquired about food, they said we might like the one on property, they were wrong, we didn't "might" like, loved is closer to the truth, we were two couples, all had different selections, I had the... We ate dinner at Bambara and the food was good. The service, on the other hand, left something to be desired. I had the scallops and risotto. My husband had the filet mignon. Both tasy. However, the service was lacking. Once we received our order, our server never came over to ask us how our food tasted and/or if we... More

The Elk Carpaccio was so delightful. We came in for the blue cheese chips but the Carpaccio trumped my favorite starter. We also enjoyed tuna tartare and crab stuffed peppers. I was with a business partner and we wanted a light meal. These 4 starters and a cocktail made with High West Double Rye was the perfect dinner for me.... More

Met friends who are staying at the Hotel Monaco to have a drink before we went to a holiday party. Bartender was very friendly. Mood and ambience is very cool in the bar, called the Vault Lounge which is where we sat. Drinks were good. We ordered two appetizers. Calamari, delish and cheese board which had some good stuff as... More

Though expensive, the food is worth the prices! Judging by everyones dinners this was a huge hit! Filet kit on was beautimous as were the Maine scallops and luckily we don't live there because we'd be visiting weekly!

I noticed this establishment while walking to another restaurant. We were put off by the loud environment in the other dining place and came back to investigate Bambara. Glad we did! The food was delicious and the service was attentive and friendly. The salmon was heavenly and my dining companion's chicken was also excellent. The desserts were sinful. This will... More

We have visited Bambara on multiple occasions from a full dinner to cocktails. The wait staff is very attentive, the management a little pretentious and stand offish. The food is constant and good to excellent. I like to have a cocktail on one of our progressives at Bambar, sometimes with an hoer d'ouevres. The duck toast is quite tasty and... More

We only had breakfast here and enjoyed it very much. Service was pleasant and efficient. I ordered the Croque Madame - it was huge but delicious! My partner had the usual 2 eggs and bacon breakfast but it was all done to order. Will have to come back and give it a try for dinner some day.
