Lovely, gracious dinner

Well thought out menu choices and wine list. Attentive service. Beautiful, well appointed, formal dining room with good acoustics so you can carry on a conversation. We were there early in the week and it was busy; I'm sure you would need a reservation Thursday-Sunday.

We were only interested in having a light dinner having been traveling for the past 8 days. I had their pear salad and my wife and I shared two orders of their muscles. They were absolutely wonderful. Generous portion with an outstanding broth. We also had the crab stuffed pepper which was nicely prepared and served (very tasty). We could... More

I stayed at Hotel Monaco and ate 4 breakfasts and 2 lunches here. They have great menu selections and are very flexible with changes to the menu description. They could improve their coffee and their white wines by the glass.

I was staying at the Hilton downtown and wanted to go someplace nearby for dinner. Found Bambara on Tripadvisor and decided to give it a try. The service was really good but the food was even better. I had the scallops which was amazing. It was pricey but I didn't mind since my company was paying LOL.

This is an upscale restaurant in the Hotel Monaco. There is a good beer and wine selection, and an appealing menu. I was here for a brief business meeting, so we didn't eat a meal. However, I had the blue cheese chips appetizer, which was delicious. It's a little pricey ($35 for 2 beers and an appetizer), but that's to... More

After a week in Utah we were happy to find a restaurant with a proper bar. Our bartender made a great martini and manhattan. Dinner was excellent. Our waiter was very skilled and provided excellent recommendations. The Elk Carpaccio appetizer had a delicate flavor that melted in my mouth and disapeared on myplate. We both had the lamb for dinner... More

in the lobby of the Monaco Hotel. Super convenient, great wait staff and top notch service from everyone working there. Try the Breakfast Burrito.

Went here with work colleagues. The service was outstanding, very attentive staff, friendly and courteous. Good was average (well mine by way), wine was good with a wide selection. For those who like to tip, service is added to the bill, so keep an eye out to make sure you're happy with the amount.

Business lunches here two days in a row. Potato chips with melted blue cheese and calamari both days as appetizers, both are awesome, dare i say the calamari was exceptional. Day 1 i had the chuck burger, delicious, bacon jam on top with brie-very tasty. Our party also had the fish dishes which they loved. Day two it was the... More

Tucked into the bottom of the Hotel Monaco lives Bambara. Once a bank building, the Hotel preserves the impression of the native ambience with the very high ceilings, tons of glass and art deco architecture, and the Vault Bar. The menu is a delight with artistic interpretations of many basics and original creations from the appetizers through the entrees to... More
