Tsunami in South Jordan

Tsunami has three locations but I am reviewing the South Jordan spot. This is a classy restaurant with excellent service, food and a nice atmosphere. The recommendations for drinks and sushi were all spot-on. The PD and DBD rolls were unique but delicious -- I would get these again. We are... read more

If I was somebody, and there are many, that really like sushi, then this would be where I'd go. So, on the occasion of my nephew's Birthday, all eight of us went for his choice of restaurant. Nobody left disappointed, and everybody had "to-go" boxes with delicacies that were avidly eaten within a day or so. Ours was a long... More

I was in Salt Lake City with my family for a convention, and let me just say that this restaurant was terrific and was a highlight of our time spent in Salt Lake. The sushi rolls and tempura we ordered were beyond amazing. It was the best I've ever had. I also recommend the cucumber salad with octopus. Shoutout to... More

Ask for the dinner combination. With that, there is no need to ask for appetizers, or desserts. You'll be more than done. The salmon teriyaki is from another world!!!

Tsunami Sushi is my go-to in town. For starters - I've NEVER had bad sushi here, and my boyfriend is a big guy ergo we order lots of rolls ergo I've tasted a good majority of the menu. It's all delicious. The sushi is always well made (never falls apart or any of that nonsense) and the bites are the... More

This place, though small and kind of out-of-the-way, is hands down the best eatery in SLC. Best brewed green tea in the UNIVERSE and the sushi is excellent. The regular entrees are great, the service is very very very attentive and it's worth every penny to drop in here. I strongly urge anyone to eat here, you can't go wrong!

I was visiting Salt Lake City last month on business. In fact, I just finished 6 consecutive weeks of Tuesdays through Fridays there, and am glad to be home. The 1st week I made the dire mistake of staying at an Extended Stay America, and as a result Hilton got my business for the remainder if the trips. The only... More

Recently visited for a business trip. I do not like fish so instead opted for the sirloin teriyaki. Food was excellent and the atmosphere was upscale. Will visit again!
