Mazza for lunch

Nice, small space. Nice server. We shared an order of Vegetarian Grape Leaves and a Spinach Fatayer. Both were fresh & delish. We both also ordered the Falafel sandwich. It was HUGE! Very fresh flavors of tomatoes, onions and parsley with the falafel balls in a big pita pocket. It was almost... read more

This is one of me and my wife's favorite restaurants in the world. It's a true gem in the SLC area. The food is delicious, if you've never tried Middle Eastern Cuisine...this would be the place to start. We always order the Baba Ghanoush with Cucumber Chips to start. Their menu is very friendly to most food allergy and food... More

We went to Mazza and really enjoyed the food. The service once seated was very good but we had some issues with how long it took to seat us. When we arrived at 6:30 we were told there was a 45 min wait for our group of four. We walked around the area and came back at 7:15 and told... More

My favorite cuisine is Persian food. This is not Persian but it is still delicious. The staff are friendly and attentive, the environment is clean and comfortable, and the food was excellent. I was worried because I didn't see the exact combination I wanted, but the waiters allowed me to order and customize my meal. I've lived in Utah 3... More

If you're looking for Middle Eastern food in SLC, this is the best I've tried. The appetizers are excellent- try a sampler, and the falafel is first rate- it's served lightly panini pressed with a wonderful tahini on the side. Recommend the house made limeade. Excellent service.

A group of old friends gathered at this friendly neighborhood restaurant. We were greeted warmly. We decided to go crazy and order a bunch of appetizers to share including things we had never experienced. It was a joyful mouthpleasing experience for all. Mix it up with their delightful house Lebanese wine. You are warned - get a reservation or arrive... More

If you love the spices of the Middle East then you'll love this place. The atmosphere is elegant/casual and the servers are pleasant and serve in a timely fashion. We started with the Lamb Sfiha - which is a mini pizza - and the hummus which was fresh and spicy without being overwhelming. The shawarma was also tasty ...but the... More

If you are visiting Salt Lake City and want a taste of something beyond hotel and mall food, venture to the 15th and 15th neighborhood (where 1500 East and 1500 South intersect). Mazza serves delicious authentic middle eastern food in a simple but cozy setting. I had chicken with cauliflower, tasty and comforting. Place was empty when we arrived but... More
