I have been here three times and it does not disappoint! The homemade noodles, appetizers and quaint environment all make for a terrific dining experience. The staff is friendly and attentive. It's one of my favorite Italian places in Utah. You must go!

We found Caffe Molisse to be an excellent choice for Italian food - the Shrimp Scampi was especially good as well as the appetizers... we were with a large group - about 25 or so - and the service was still excellent and food arrived in a timely manner... in the summer, they have a very large outdoor dining area... What a lovely dinner AND when the restaurant was handling HUGE crowds from both Sundance AND the Outdoor Retailers Convention! Both the front of the house & the kitchen were prepared, though, as service was good and they were hopping! We ordered one of the appetizer specials, a roasted tomato, pesto, & goat cheese spread with crostini...fabulous! My husband had... More

Very good Italian with great vegetarian choices. If you plan on eating here, make sure to make a reservation in the winter s they have a fairly small house. Summers are easier to do a walk-in as they have a beautiful massive patio. The pasta and beef tenderloin are well prepared and plated. The vegetarian choices are more than adequate... More

We walked in and the wait was 45 minutes to one hour so we made a reservation. The hostess took my number and said she would text me if the table got ready earlier. We walked around town and came back in 45 minutes to be told we did NOT have a reservation. She apologized (sort of), but did nothing... More

A little away from the centre of downtown but but not too far. Reasonable Italian food without being exceptional. Good service. Large serves. Fairly casual.

We were less than impressed with the food here. The spaghettini pomodori was nothing short of tomato juice, chunks of tomato and lettuce leaves. The flavor was very bland. Their rolls are small and it's a joke that they charge you for more. The best part of our meal was the chocolate mousse cheesecake we splurged on for dessert (YUM)!

I didn't expect to find a good Italian meal and pleasant outdoor dining in downtown Salt Lake City but Cafe Molise was a real find. Just a block from the Salt Palace convention center, it was a great place to grab a hearty lunch and get away from the crowds. I especially enjoyed their polenta.

Molise was once part of Abruzzo in the southern region of Italy, and Caffe Molise describes their food as unique to the Region. I was curious about what food from the Molise Region was all about, so I did a little research before I booked the reservation. Caffe Molise is a classic restaurant attempting to define cuisine from the Molise... More

I have not had such a good meal since going to the North End in Boston. Their pasta is divine, and I especially enjoyed the spinach salad with sublime ingredients including one of my favorites, pine nuts. The service matched the fare. We were there early so we enjoyed the extra attention. I highly recommend this family owned restaurant--you won't... More
