Good place for lunch on a workday

I go to Italian Village for lunch sometimes with a couple of co-workers. After reading a number of negative reviews on Trip Advisor, I believed my friends instead and have enjoyed eating there. Better Italian restaurants? Sure, but this is handy, the food is good, the service is friendly and... read more

I've been going to Italian Village for over 44 years--since 1972. It tastes the same as it did when I was 6. My favorite pizza in the world !!! Everything here is awesome, homemade and the best!! Italian Village is a tradition in our family!! We love it!!!

People who had been here before raved about this place. As you walk to the table pass by the kitchen. Floor was dirty. Salad was just a bowl of lettuce. I ordered a side of lasagna, sauce was very thin and watery. No flavor. I would never going back to this place even for a glass of water.

Stopped by the Italian Village last evening for a late dinner. The oddest restaurant we've ever seen - starting with the entrance door! Anyway, the noise level was so loud it made across the table conversation impossible. Service was slow (the place was packed) and the food so low-brow it was a shame. Those who eat here must have very... More

I'm not sure what has happened to this restaurant. The pizza and benders are about the same as they have been in the past. The meatballs, which use to be good have changed and no longer are good. The sauce for the benders and meatballs was terrible. The taste was not what it should be or what it has been... More

The food was only so-so and the garlic bread was done on a loaf of sandwich bread and half the slice of bread was black and the other half totally untoasted. Poor representation of italian food

Hello garlic and carbs! I love garlic but come on...the waitress looked at us like we had 3 heads when we asked if there were any vegetables available. The salads were the only option for veggies and they were VERY uninspired....the pasta was decent and portions were huge but nothing exciting.

Ate here during a recent visit to the SLC area visiting family. They had seen 4+ ratings on yelp, so we decided to try it. 4+ is definitely OVER rated. The food was average, the service not great, but the prices were low. That is the only reason I can think that it is as highly rated as it is.

The restaurant is always busy but service moves quickly and smoothly. The food is always great and portions large. The menu has a variety to meet any member of your party. A great place for family' s or just a business lunch or dinner.

If I had to describe Italian Village in one word, it would be this: canned. The food here is not fresh. It's gross. I ordered a special where I got a small pizza and a side of fettuccine alfredo. One of the pizza toppings they have is shrimp, and I assumed they were going to be regular shrimp. When my... More
