So glad to find a none chain restaurant and not in the mall by Temple Square. The Tomato Agiago (soup) was superb. The carving station beef was too well done for my liking. This is cafeteria style, but servers behind the counter has all you need to make your choices to your liking.

Great stop for a quick lunch when in downtown Salt Lake. Nauvoo Cafe is attached to Temple Square. It can get busy, so try to arrive a bit early, or have a later lunch.

Loved the out door seating. The soup and sandwich were very good. Staff was friendly with big smiles that made you feel welcomed.

The family spent the day on Temple Square and the Nauvoo Cafe was the perfect place to grab a specialty made sandwich for lunch. The sandwiches were very good and probably the best part was that it was convenient. That was a huge plus for us. Restaurant was cafeteria-style, and seating was indoor as well as outdoor. Had it been... More

They offer a reasonably priced lunch menu. The sandwiches are fresh and tasty. If you order a turkey sandwich, they carve it off right in front of you. A full size sandwich is $6.99 and you can upgrade it to a meal (chips and soda) for an extra $1.79. They also have a half sandwich and soup/salads you can choose... More

I like to go here for a quick, delicious meal. It is located in downtown Salt Lake City just opposite Temple Square in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building on the main floor. The entrees include soup, sandwiches, salads, and desserts. I have enjoyed everything I have eaten there. It is self-serve line with made to order sandwiches. Yummy! My favorite... More

We come to SLC each year to do genealogy and are always looking for a place for lunch that is close to the family history library. The Nauvoo Restaurant is a quick walk across Temple Square, which was full of blooms from spring bulbs. The restaurant serves great sandwiches, along with soups and salads, and some great desserts. There is... More

We were looking for a place for breakfast near the Temple Square. We looked on line at the menu at the Nauvoo Cafe. We were shocked to see a made to order omelet for $2.99 and quiche for $3.25. We found that they were excellent. We returned to the Nauvoo the next day for breakfast. I would eat here everyday.... More

Seriously, the meat for lunch looked dried out. A cafeteria more than anything...a la carte. Same 3 soups ALL week, yuk! Probably the only place to get a soda on temple square though! My 1/2 sandwich chips and drink over $10...not coming back.
