Great Food, Beautiful building

I've eaten here a few times and each time the food has been excellent. They have sandwiches which are very good. The turkey cranberry and the turkey avocado are both very good. We went in thinking of getting a sandwich and then saw the turkey pot pies. They looked big and worth a try. We both... read more

While living in SLC in 2013-2014, I ate at the Nauvoo Cafe at least 3 times a month for breakfast and/or lunch. I often enjoyed solo visits, as well as visits with friends and family. The salads, cookies, hot chocolate, sandwiches, omelets, pies, etc., are delicious. The Turkey Pot Pie, salads & omelets are my favorites. This is where I... More

We weren't quite sure what to expect, but . . Nauvoo Care was recommended for their turkey pot pies. Well . .that was an excellent recommendation! Wow - SOOO good. This is a deli-type cafe - you go thru the line and tell them what you'd like. They make sandwiches to order, have turkey pot pie (to die for!), salads,... More

Attending a Conference at Salt Palace and walked over here for lunch. Love their Turkey and cranberry sandwich and the tomato soup can not be beat. A very popular place for lunch.

I had the cranberry turkey sandwich and my spouse had the Hawaiian ham. Best turkey sandwich I've had in a longtime. They hand carve the meat, no pre sliced lunch meat here. Very tasty. Only wish they had brewed iced tea. The staff was very nice and helpful. Great for lunch!

If you like pot pies then you MUST try the turkey pot pie. Their carver sandwiches are great as well. Not the best I've ever had but for the selections at other places downtown they can't be beat for taste, freshness, and price. Breakfast options are great as well. Crème Brule French toast is so good. Omelets are great and,... More

This is excellent place for lunch into Temple square historical district. Cafe locates on the ground floor of outstandingly nice historical house (reminding luxurious hotel Budapest from well-known film), clean and beautiful outdoor garden with tables available as well. The staff is jock and polite, the meals are very testy, fast ready and large. And all of this service is... More

This is a light to heavy snack bar with generous ;portions and decent quality offerings. Right on the Temple fountain area. Could be a high priced tourist ripoff, but no, this place gives you your money's worth. It is tasty and good. Self refills on pop so you won't leave thirsty, no matter how hot it may be outside.

The food is good, and easily accessible if you are sightseeing on Temple Square. It is located off the magnificent lobby of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building (old Hotel Utah). It is cafeteria style with fresh, good food and food can be eaten inside, at tables outside off Temple Square, or to go.

Nauvoo cafe is a must eat restaurant, especially when visiting Temple Square. It's in a great location! My favorite is their 1/2 soup 1/2 sandwich combo. My favorite time to go is during the winter after walking through the the lit up Temple Square grounds - they have the best hot chocolate!
