Good for a quick meal

We'd spent the morning in the "Temple vicinity" and wanted somewhere quick for a sandwich. The sandwich ordering system is a short production line where you specify the size and type of bread you want then the fillings. Nice cafe next to temple square. Loved the cranberry turkey sandwich. Wife and daughter had the tomato and asiago soup. It was different and it had lots of spice. To my taste it was closer to a sauce than a soup. For a quick decent meal not too bad.

Conveniently located in the bottom corner of the Joseph Smith Memorial building at Temple Square, this little cafe is the perfect spot for a quick lunch if visiting the downtown Salt Lake area. As mentioned, the sandwiches are well priced for a downtown cafe and are quite thick with freshly carved meat! Soups have that homemade taste and you can... More

I had the coca cola pork loin sandwich and a bowl of new england clam chowder. Anna was my sandwich maker and she was wonderful, she made a great sandwich with all the trimmings, she was fast and friendly. The place has a nice atmosphere . after a long day on Temple Square this place is a nice pit stop

I've eaten here a few times and each time the food has been excellent. They have sandwiches which are very good. The turkey cranberry and the turkey avocado are both very good. We went in thinking of getting a sandwich and then saw the turkey pot pies. They looked big and worth a try. We both got a pie and... More

While living in SLC in 2013-2014, I ate at the Nauvoo Cafe at least 3 times a month for breakfast and/or lunch. I often enjoyed solo visits, as well as visits with friends and family. The salads, cookies, hot chocolate, sandwiches, omelets, pies, etc., are delicious. The Turkey Pot Pie, salads & omelets are my favorites. This is where I... More

We weren't quite sure what to expect, but . . Nauvoo Care was recommended for their turkey pot pies. Well . .that was an excellent recommendation! Wow - SOOO good. This is a deli-type cafe - you go thru the line and tell them what you'd like. They make sandwiches to order, have turkey pot pie (to die for!), salads,... More

Attending a Conference at Salt Palace and walked over here for lunch. Love their Turkey and cranberry sandwich and the tomato soup can not be beat. A very popular place for lunch.

I had the cranberry turkey sandwich and my spouse had the Hawaiian ham. Best turkey sandwich I've had in a longtime. They hand carve the meat, no pre sliced lunch meat here. Very tasty. Only wish they had brewed iced tea. The staff was very nice and helpful. Great for lunch!

If you like pot pies then you MUST try the turkey pot pie. Their carver sandwiches are great as well. Not the best I've ever had but for the selections at other places downtown they can't be beat for taste, freshness, and price. Breakfast options are great as well. Crème Brule French toast is so good. Omelets are great and,... More
