We were researching at the FH Library and found this the perfect place for lunch or dinner. Fresh ingredients; hand carved turkey and baked ham, sliced as sandwiches are ordered, many good choices [hot, toasted, not fried, and cold], good bread choices and optional ingredients. Their turkey pot pie was excellent - flaky crust, lots of turkey and vegetables in... More

Just a few simple options from the counter, all made fresh to order - soups, sandwiches, salads, followed by a cup to grab the drink of your choice. Located in the LDS Conference Center and not being LDS I was a little bit nervous however I felt completely comfortable and would gladly go back for another meal and/or quick meeting.... More

This restaurant is located in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building which was formerly the Hotel Utah. It's a grand old historic building which was "converted" several years ago for church use. Salt Lake City is the world headquarters for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, commonly called the Mormon church - I will refer to it hereafter simply... More

Have been going here since it opened and is the place I head to for lunch. Great soup and sandwiches. Can be crowded at lunch time, but worth the wait. Sandwiches are made from meat carved when you order and you have your choice of toppings.

Their sandwiches are made with real roasted turkey or beef on ciabatta rolls with your choice of condiments. A little spendy but the sandwiches are very good. Location is great if you are looking for a quick lunch while visiting downtown or Temple Square as it is located in the Joseph Smith building.

Stopped in during the Christmas Season for lunch with our family. Prices are very reasonable, $5-8 for lunch, sandwiches, soup, pot-pie, salads. The Cafe is set up Cafeteria Style. They also have excellent desserts for under $3.00. Wanted to try their breakfast menu, but ran out of time. If you are driving and need parking they will validate your parking... More

I did not know about this restaurant until this year. It is located on the main floor of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. It is priced for a family, from a cup of soup at $2.99 to sandwich and salads no more than $8.99. To view the menu see the following link: http://www.templesquarehospitality.com/restaurants/files/nauvoo-menu2012.pdf Parking downtown can be a challenge, however... More

The Nauvoo Cafe is one of our favorite places to eat in Downtown Salt Lake. It's located on the ground floor of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building and there is underground parking that you can access from South Temple. Their service is fast, but good. The food is excellent, high quality and fresh. It's a little more expensive than fast... More

the food at this place is beyond good. the menu is limited to about 4 deli meats that are cooked to perfection to make a sandwich that is delectable and so satisfying that i was able to go all afternoon without hunger. there are a few pre-made salads that are so fresh you'd think they were made in front of...
