I like to go here for a quick, delicious meal. It is located in downtown Salt Lake City just opposite Temple Square in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building on the main floor. The entrees include soup, sandwiches, salads, and desserts. I have enjoyed everything I have eaten there. It is self-serve line with made to order sandwiches. Yummy! My favorite... More

We come to SLC each year to do genealogy and are always looking for a place for lunch that is close to the family history library. The Nauvoo Restaurant is a quick walk across Temple Square, which was full of blooms from spring bulbs. The restaurant serves great sandwiches, along with soups and salads, and some great desserts. There is... More

We were looking for a place for breakfast near the Temple Square. We looked on line at the menu at the Nauvoo Cafe. We were shocked to see a made to order omelet for $2.99 and quiche for $3.25. We found that they were excellent. We returned to the Nauvoo the next day for breakfast. I would eat here everyday.... More

Seriously, the meat for lunch looked dried out. A cafeteria more than anything...a la carte. Same 3 soups ALL week, yuk! Probably the only place to get a soda on temple square though! My 1/2 sandwich chips and drink over $10...not coming back.

Among our party, we ordered a turkey sandwich, a BBQ sandwich, fettucine, and the pot pie. The pot pie was the best I ever had. We all loved our dishes. The brownie was delicious too. The sandwiches are made to order and the hot dishes are heated to a perfect temperature. The servers are all friendly and knowledgeable. You can... More

We stopped here for a quick lunch while taking a break from our family research at the Family History Center. They had a "Summer Sampler", choice of cup of soup, along with a selection of one-half sandwiches, along with a 16 oz. soda (with a refill) for $7.99. The meal was delicious as well as filling. The service was wonderful.... More

We ate here on August 9, 2013. The fact that the Nauvoo Café is located in the former Hotel Utah (with its cattle baron grandeur), in the heart of the International Mormon headquarters, in downtown SLC is worth the trip to dine here. Plenty of tourist watching to be had here. Don't be mistaken that this is a cafeteria...you walk... More

Kudos to the staff of the cafe; we've been there with just adults, adults and teens, and the whole crowd of us (age 47 to 5), and have always had a pleasant experience with the staff; they do a great job! The food is a bit high for the quality, in my opinion. Crusts on pies and pastries are very... More

Ate her with my family for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. I ordered the turkey and cranberry sandwich. I thought it was pretty good. My wife and son shared a club sandwich. Uh..... Hello! This sandwich is awesome! The bacon is very crispy, which is a must when in a sandwich, it needs the texture. We also ordered a turkey... More
